This special edition we are celebrating King of Kemensah Trail 12th anniversary!! We welcome all runners to this event with open arms.


As an appreciation to all runners who have been supporting this event all these years, the event details are as follows:


1.     We will remain in the same categories: 50KM, 30KM, 18KM, 15KM, 10KM and 5KM. 

2.     A new category, which is 80km will be added to the list for this year.

3.     Extra arrangements for cut-off time so we will have more time to see the beauty of Kemensah Jungle.

4.     We will start at interval timings based on your categories. 

5.     We will have 2 days trail event this round with 2 different starting places and routes. 

6.     We are going to recognize the top 10 finishers with trophies and products. 

7.     There are UTMB and ITRA points for 80KM, 50KM and 30KM categories.

8.     Limited to 1500 slots only. 

9.     And most importantly, the finisher items for 80km. A little surprise awaits these categories.

10.  And most important of all, CP food and beverages will be upgraded to another level for this year. There will be a dedicated chefs and cooking team at at least 3 CPs. Yes, you heard us right; plenty of heavy meals are awaiting you in the jungle, and no reason not to finish the race!

Race Site Venue Day 1: Kem Ghafar Baba (KGB)

1.     You will need to park at Zoo Negara - Parking B area and nearby parking spaces.

2.     Walk to the collection point, there is 4x4 to fetch and send you to Kem Ghafar Baba. Same 4x4 will be on standby to fetch you back at interval timing. 


Race Site Venue Day 2: Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Kemensah

3.     You will need to park at Zoo Negara - Parking B area and nearby parking spaces.

4.     Walk to the starting venue and enjoy the crowd.


Day 1:

1.     There are a surau, toilets, shower at this race site.

2.     Free-flow post-race food for 80KM, 50KM, 30KM and 18KM finishers and survivors (best case basis... we serve until our food supplies are sold out) and cekodok acik kantin is a must!


Day 2:

1.     There are portable toilets in the starting area.

2.     Free-flow light post-race breakfast for all 15KM, 10KM & 5KM runners.

  1. Group registration (a minimum of 5 participants) will receive the Early Bird Rate throughout the registration period.

*For special arrangements for race kit collection for those who cannot make it on 3rd July 2026, we will impose RM10 per collection on race day. Participants must come 2 hours before the flag-off time. The counter will be closed 30 minutes before the race starts. Bib transfers are not allowed on this day.


*Bib transfer windows will be open from June 15-26 June 2026. Organiser have the right not to entertain any requests for a bib transfer before or after this date. 


*Please bring your confirmation slip and passport/Malaysia Identity Card for verification (soft copy will do)
*No group collection this round.
*No collection on behalf is allowed.  

*Mandatory items will be checked before starting the race.  

*No POSTAGE available for this event.

Result

The overall results for all participants will be out within 5 working days after the race. 


For any complaints, please email us with:  


1.     Filled complaint form and send it to the secretariat counter.

2.     Full details of the complaint. Attached all necessary proof and supporting document(s). 

3.     Pay RM300 complaint fee.


Investigation will be done in 10 working days, and all results after that will be final.

Bib transfer, cancellation, and category change

- No refund of the entry fee once you’ve registered for the race, regardless of any category, in any circumstances.

- Changes to the Bib name are allowed during race pack collection only with a fee of RM100. New runners will remain in the previous runners’ category and tee size.

- All participants are strongly advised not to proceed with the race without the updated runner information on the Race Bib for their insurance coverage and safety reasons


Eligibility

- This race is open to all Malaysian/Permanent Resident and overseas runners aged 18 years and above only. For the Fun Run and junior category, parental/guardian consent is required (Please DM us for information and the guardians’ waiver form).

- Participants must complete the race on foot under their own strength. 

- Participants are required to be semi self-sufficient. You must always have your mandatory equipment with you during the race.

- The organizer reserves the right to deny entry to any participants.



Pacer / External support

- Pacers and support crews are strictly prohibited. 

- No external support from friends or family is allowed beyond the limits of the official checkpoints.



Medical 

- There will be medical personnel on standby at the race site.

- Ambulance service is on standby as well for emergency cases.

- Participants are responsible for ensuring they are fit and healthy before starting the race. Please consult your doctor if there is any doubt.



Insurance

- Participants are to accept the risks associated with the event as per the indemnity clause in the registration form.

- The organizer will not be responsible for any claims resulting from this event.

- It is recommended that you have personal accident insurance or health insurance.



Event Cancellation

The organizers reserve the right to cancel or cut short the event for the following reasons (but not limited to) 

- Adverse weather conditions (haze, thunderstorms, etc.)

- Dangerous trail conditions (landslides, floods, trees fallen/fires blocking the course, etc.)

- Riot, endemic, government policy changes, etc.

*In such an event, there is no refund of the registration fee.

Toilets are available at the starting point only.


*The water station count is an estimation only. It can change on the actual day. 

*We will implement the bring your own bottle/cup concept (BYOB/BYOC) for this race. So please bring your own portable cup or bottle. We will not provide any disposable cups at the starting/finishing line and all water stations.


Safety

- Race bibs must always be worn & visible (on the front) throughout the event. 

- Participants must always stay on the marked course at all times. Short cuts/running off the trails are strictly prohibited.

- Participants must always carry all the mandatory items during the event. 

- If you notice marshal vehicles (motorbike / jeep) approaching during the race, please slow down and give way.

- Please be cautious, as some parts of the trail route might be muddy and slippery. 

- There will be a few river crossings, so it is advised to always stay alert to the official race markers. 

- Ensure your own safety and that of others. Be considerate of other trail and road users always. - Take great care when crossing or running on roads. If another runner is injured or in distress, please assist. 



Dropping Out From The Race 

If you decide to withdraw from the event, you must inform the event officials immediately and remove your race bib. Once you have dropped out of the race, you are not allowed to restart.


  1. Dropping Out at check point

                        - Tell the checkpoint marshals that you've decided to drop out of the race.

- The checkpoint marshals will be able to further guide you on returning to the finishing point or with the race shuttle. 

- Do note that not all checkpoints are accessible with the race shuttle and even so with a limited time frame. 


  1. Dropping Out Along the race course

- Please proceed to your nearest checkpoint and inform the marshals that you've decided to drop out of the race. The checkpoint marshals will be able to further guide you on returning to the finishing point or with the race shuttle. 

- Do note that not all checkpoints are accessible with the race shuttle and even so with a limited time frame.

- If you're severely unable to move yourself to the nearest checkpoint, please contact the event emergency number.



Race Timing

There will be timing system in this event for 80KM, 50KM, 30KM, 18KM, 15KM, 10KM.

No timing system for 5km as this category is noncompetitive.


Terms & Conditions

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full.
  2. Entry forms will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of entry fee.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse entries without reason.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.
  5. Entry fees are non-refundable. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entries once the entry is accepted if any applicants provide false information, do not make the required payment, or fail to meet entry requirements as stated in the entry form.
  6. Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer (including heavy rain, thunder storm or disaster, public rally), no refund of the entry fee will be made and the Organizer shall have no further responsibility and/or liability thereafter.
  7. Running is not a ‘free risk’ sport and therefore each runner must ensure his/her health condition is fit before participating and during the race.  Each runner shall be responsible with his/her own health/condition. The Organizer shall be responsible for personal injury or death during or after the race due to gross negligence of the Organizer.
  8. The Organizer reserves the right to disallow/ disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event. Should a runner get injured during the race, on case by case basis as recommended by medical team as appointed by the Organizer to monitor the race, such runner may be treated in hospital as designated by the Organizer with a treatment cost not exceeding the amount agreed by the Organizer and the relevant hospital. circumstances.
  9. The organizer and its agents will not be held responsible for any issues relating to parking at the venue.  Participants are advised to follow the instructions given by traffic personnel for proper parking. The organizer and its agent will not be held responsible due to losses suffered in the event of break ins or vandalism to the vehicles of participants.  Proper vigilance must be exercised by all participants when parking their vehicles.


General Rules And Regulations

All participants must agree to the rules and regulations before registering for the race:

  • The minimum age for participation is 5 years old at the date of the event. No pets, or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skates, prams, strollers, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers are not allowed on the course during the race except official race and medical vehicles. Organiser reserves the right to remove participants who fail to adhere to the stipulated rules and regulations from the race route immediately.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full.
  • Entry forms will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of entry fee.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse entries without reason.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.

  • Confirmed registrations are not transferable to other persons.

Participant Waiver

  1. By participating I/we accept all risks necessarily resulting from my participation, which would result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly, I will not hold liable all people associated with the conduct of events and will release them against all matters arising from my participation in event. For clarification, the people released include event organisers, promoters, sponsors, managers, officers, employees, agents, contractors and volunteers including event medical and paramedical personnel and every personnel invited and asked to be involved in the event by the organisers. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives, and assignees.
  2. I/we understand that I park my vehicle at my own risk and assume organisers to not hold any responsibility for loss of or damage to my vehicle.
  3. I/we acknowledge that the event involves real risk of serious injuries, or risk of death, from various causes including overexertion, equipment failure, dehydration, accidents with other competitors, spectators, and road users, the course and weather conditions, just to name a few.
  4. I/we understand that I should not participate in the event unless I have prepared appropriately and my physical condition has been verified by a medical practitioner.
  5. I/we understand that the information that I have provided herein will be included in the organizer's database. I also understand that information of a biological nature including my name, date of birth, home state, results, career highlights and interests may be released to the media in response to general requests.
  6. I/we agree to abide by all the Rules of organisers which relate, in part, to safe and fair sporting practices.
  7. I/we grant organisers unconditional rights to use at their discretion photographic pictures and personal information in any form of media, art, advertising, trade, visual documentary, promotional material, merchandise or film coverage of any kind without compensation to me. I also waive the right to inspect and/or approve the finished product or the copy that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied.
  8. I/we have permission from my family and related sport associations to compete in this event.
