REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY
The organisers of Rentas Desa maintain a clear policy regarding withdrawals and registrations to ensure event sustainability:
Refund Eligibility: Participants who withdraw their application before March 10th, 2026, are eligible for an 80% refund of the entry fee.
Final Deadline: There is STRICTLY NO REFUND for any withdrawals made after March 10th, 2026, regardless of the circumstances (including medical, personal, or mechanical issues).
Non-Transferable: Once submitted, an entry is strictly non-transferable. You may not transfer your registration to another person or carry it forward to a future event or a different category.
Fees: Please note that any third-party processing or transaction fees incurred during the initial registration are non-refundable.
WAIVER & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I hereby confirm that I am participating in Rentas Desa voluntarily and at my own risk. I understand that this is a self-supported cycling event and I am fully responsible for my own safety, equipment, navigation and actions throughout the event.
I explicitly acknowledge that:
Rescue & Evacuation: I am solely responsible for my own rescue or evacuation in the event of mechanical failure, injury or exhaustion. Any rescue arrangements or associated costs are my personal responsibility and are not at the discretion or responsibility of the organiser.
Liability: The organisers, sponsors, partners and volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, loss, damage, or death that may occur before, during or after the event.
Compliance: By submitting my registration, I agree to all event rules, regulations and safety requirements.
I hereby release the organisers from any and all claims arising from my participation in this event.
MEDIA RELEASE & CONSENT
By participating in Rentas Desa, I hereby grant the organisers, its sponsors, and authorised partners the absolute right and permission to:
Capture & Use: Record my image, likeness, voice, and actions via photography, video, or any other digital media during the course of the event.
Promotion & Advertising: Use, publish, and distribute these materials for future event promotion, marketing, and advertising purposes.
Broad Distribution: Share and utilize these assets across all digital platforms (including social media, websites, and apps), print media, and through any news agencies or press outlets.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and understand that I will not receive any financial compensation for the use of such media. I release the organisers from any claims or liability arising from the use of my image in these contexts.
COMMUNICATION & EVENT UPDATES
I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to stay informed about event details, schedule changes, or safety briefings. I understand that all official event updates and announcements will be made via the Rentas Desa social media channels:

I agree to monitor these platforms leading up to and during the event for the most current information.
INSURANCE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I acknowledge that the organiser will provide limited Personal Accident (PA) insurance coverage for the Rentas Desa event. I understand that this coverage is minimal and may not be sufficient for my individual needs. I am fully responsible for obtaining my own additional insurance, including but not limited to life, accident, medical, and travel insurance. I also give consent for the organiser to use and share my personal information with the appointed insurance company solely for the purpose of insurance registration and claims processing.
FINAL DECLARATION & AGREEMENT
By checking the "I AGREE" box and submitting my registration, I solemnly declare and agree to the following:
Accuracy of Information: I certify that all information provided in this registration is true, complete, and correct.
Assumption of Risk: I understand that providing false or inaccurate information (including emergency contact details or medical history) poses a significant safety risk.
Full Responsibility: I agree to bear full and sole responsibility for any consequences, liabilities, or exclusions from the event that may arise from providing incorrect information.
Binding Agreement: I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and now bound myself to the Waiver & Acknowledgement, Communication & Event Updates, Insurance Acknowledgement, Media Release, and Refund & Transfer Policy stated above.
Organisers reserve the absolute right to amend event details—including dates, venues, routes, and rules—without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances or safety requirements.
