MESTECH 7KM CHARITY RUN will be organized at Taman Tasik Cempaka, Bangi on 28th February 2016 (Sunday).

Run The Rare Journey of Life is a 7KM Charity Run organized by University of Kuala Lumpur Institute of Medical Science Technology (UniKL MESTECH), whereby 80% of the participation fees will be donated to the Malaysia Rare Disorders Society (MRDS). The event is a collaboration between UniKL MESTECH with MRDS, Heart Foundation of Malaysia and Kajang City Council (MPKj). It will be held on February 28th, 2016.

We will be expecting about 800 participants for the event. Besides becoming a fund-raising platform for the organization, as part of the Medical Science community, we would also like to increase awareness and scientific knowledge on rare disease among public (especially youth and parents).

During event day, we will be having a sharing session between public and rare disease patients and their family, health screening, environmental health science booth and colouring contest. And there will also be a flashmob by our own performing arts and media club!

Let's get the news out to all Malaysians, hand-in-hand and stand strong as one!
