Maybank Championship 2026 — Ticketing Terms & Conditions
These Ticketing Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to each official ticket and accreditation/hospitality pass (each, a "Ticket") for the Maybank Championship 2026 (the "Event") organised by BIG Events (Bigntall Sdn Bhd) (the "Organiser"). All Tickets sold online are issued electronically by Ticket2U (the "Ticket Seller"). By purchasing or using a Ticket, you (the "Ticket Holder") agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms communicated by the Organiser or Ticket Seller from time to time.
1. Definitions
In these Terms: (a) "Event Owner" means Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank); (b) "Tour" means the LPGA Tour; (c) "Venue" means Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC); and (d) "Released Parties" has the meaning given in clause 14.
2. Ticket Purchase & Delivery
Tickets may only be purchased via the Ticket Seller’s designated Event page: https://www.ticket2u.com.my/maybankchampionship2026. Tickets purchased from any other source are unauthorised and may be refused. Tickets are issued electronically to the email address provided at checkout. Please ensure your contact details are correct and current.
3. Age & Admission
Individuals aged 13 and above must possess their own Ticket for admission. An adult accompanying a minor is responsible for ensuring compliance with any minimum admission age or entry restrictions notified by the Organiser or Venue.
4. Identity Verification
The Ticket Seller and/or the Organiser may request supporting documents to verify a Ticket Holder’s identity. Failure to provide sufficient verification may result in refusal of entry without refund.
5. Entry & On‑Ground Access
On‑ground access is subject to these Terms and any Venue regulations as updated from time to time. A valid, undamaged Ticket containing an intact QR code must be presented to gain entry. Removing, altering or defacing any part of the Ticket or QR code may invalidate the Ticket.
6. Prohibited Resale & Transfers
Tickets are non‑transferable and may not be resold or used for promotions (including contests, sweepstakes or giveaways) without the Organiser’s prior written consent. The Ticket Seller may cancel any Ticket identified as having been resold or otherwise used in breach of these Terms.
7. Data & Privacy
Personal data is collected and processed by the Ticket Seller and Organiser to facilitate the sale and fulfilment of Tickets and related services. Ticket Seller and Organiser will share ticket holder’s personal data to Maybank for reporting purposes. All personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with their respective privacy notices: (a) Ticket2U Privacy Policy: https://www.ticket2u.com.my/. By registering, the Ticket Holder consents to such processing and to receiving marketing communications from the Organiser, Event Owner, sponsors and partners, subject to the right to opt‑out at any time.
8. Unauthorised Sources / Refusal of Admission
Tickets purchased from unauthorised sources may be refused. The Ticket Seller and/or Organiser may refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or otherwise breaches these Terms, Venue regulations or applicable law, without any obligation to refund.
9. Weather, Delay & Postponement
As an outdoor event, delays, postponements or suspensions may occur due to weather or for safety reasons. If the Event is postponed, Tickets for the original date will be valid for the rescheduled date unless otherwise notified.
10. Cancellation; Event Changes
The Organiser may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the Event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations or other causes beyond its reasonable control. Appearance of any player or talent is not guaranteed and no refund is available due to non‑appearance. Save as required by applicable law or expressly stated in these Terms, all sales are final and non‑refundable.
11. Consent to Search
By attending the Event, the Ticket Holder consents to reasonable security searches of their person and belongings for prohibited items (including weapons, controlled or illegal substances and recording devices) and waives any related claims against the Released Parties arising from such searches.
12. Assumption of Risk; Limitation of Liability
The Ticket Holder (and any accompanying minors) voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the Event (before, during and after attendance), including the risk of personal injury or property damage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Released Parties are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of attendance at the Event.
13. Recording & Media
No unauthorised photography, audio or video recording for commercial purposes is permitted. The Event Owner owns all rights in images, sounds and data relating to the Event. The Ticket Holder grants the Event Owner and its affiliates and licensees the right to use the Ticket Holder’s image, likeness, voice, actions and statements (and those of any accompanying minor) captured at the Event in any media for promotional or commercial purposes, without compensation.
A limited licence is granted to the Ticket Holder to use photos/video captured at the Event for personal, non‑commercial purposes (e.g., personal social media). This licence does not include any scoring‑related data or statistics and does not permit real‑time distribution (including live streaming or stroke‑by‑stroke updates).
To the extent permitted by law, the Ticket Holder assigns to the Event Owner all rights, title and interest in and to such personal, non‑commercial content and authorises the Event Owner to use and re‑use any social media posts incorporating such content.
14. Revocable Licence; Released Parties
Each Ticket is a revocable licence allowing access to the Event and may be revoked and admission refused at the sole discretion of the Tour, the Event Owner or the Organiser. The "Released Parties" are the Tour, the Event Owner, Bigntall Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Bhd., their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, officials, managers and members; all Event players and caddies; all Event and Tour sponsors; and all third parties engaged by the Event Owner or Organiser in connection with the Event.
