KANNAMMA – The Love is inspired by the eBook What Is Love written by Dhyan Vimal. Devi Letchmanan, together with her Guru Nimal Raj, conceptualised a Natya showcase that presents an artistic awareness on the true meaning of Love through Bharatanatyam, music and spoken word.

Details

This Natya production is an extension of Kannamma – The Embodiment of Six Rites, continuing the artistic journey of Kannamma as a symbol of love, compassion, strength and inner awakening. The production explores the idea that when a person awakens to the best version of oneself and becomes a blessing to others, the love within will guide life to be lived fully, meaningfully and beautifully.

Through Natya, music, poetry and movement, Kannamma – The Love is not just a dance production, but a spiritual and emotional journey that reflects humanity, self-realisation and the transformative power of love.

House of Isai Heritaj, was formed in 2010 to provide Dance and Music lessons for young children, to nurture them through Indian Arts and Culture, and create performing platforms to the young talents to establish and master the performing skills ( for the talents) and management skills for teenagers (production preparation and management skills). Yearly annual concert in one of the platform organised internally and PAYANAM THODARUM is a public concert organised to introduced teenage talents.In 2019, House of Isai Heritaj, became the official learning centre for Persatuan Kebudayaan & Kesenian Warisan Malaysia, and conducts free Bharathanaatyam classes for children of B40 category family.Persatuaan Kebudayaan & Kesenian Warisan Malaysia is a registered NGO formed in 2019 by a group of professionals. Over the years, we have been a catalyst in many programs benefiting the members and community. We have been carrying out many cultural and social activities to benefit the community residing around Cheras vicinity. Our primary aim is to create awareness on the ideals of music, dance, arts and culture education to instill spiritual values amongst the youth and the adults. We have started free music, dance and meditation classes for our underprivileged communities. Our Vision is to transform our community and shape the future by preserving our heritage and culture. Having that in mind we need your support in terms of promotion to raise funds to extend our effort of offering music, dance, arts and cultural classes to the underprivileged children for growth and wellbeing.
