SCOLA Charity Run 1.0 – Safety Students, Worry-Free Parents is our flagship event this year, dedicated to creating a safer school environment for students across Penang. The event aims to raise funds to install SCOLA Smart Campus Safety System, which provide real-time attendance notifications to parents, giving them peace of mind while ensuring student safety.

* Students below 12 years old may participate free of charge; however, no jersey or medal will be provided.
* Students below 12 years old are not allowed to participate in the competitive run; they may only join the 5KM. Add-on items such as jerseys and medals are available for purchase.
What is SCOLA Smart Campus Safety System?
SCOLA is an intelligent system that records student attendance. Upon arrival at school, students can log in through facial recognition, and the system automatically records the time. Parents will also receive a notification once their children have scanned their face and arrived at school, allowing them to confirm their children’s safety.
The system has been adopted by more than 70 schools in Penang and beyond, and features media coverage highlighting its use of digital technology, including facial recognition for accurate attendance tracking and enhanced school safety.
