Welcome to the 6th Edition of Road To Muo

ROAD TO MUO is a long-distance running challenge program that starts at Paroi Sports Complex (KOMBES), Negeri Sembilan. The event covers a total distance of 125KM, 50KM, and 30KM. This endurance adventure will take runners across three states: Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Muar, Johor.

This long-distance training program is an initiative organized by the N’Smilan Athletic Club, with the objective of promoting sportsmanship, improving physical endurance, and preparing participants for higher-level long-distance running events.

Drop Bag Info (125KM & 50KM)

  1. The drop bag counter will be open during the race briefing (REPC) day from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
  2. Participants in the 125KM category are required to separate their drop bags into two: one bag will be sent to Muar, and another bag will be placed at Checkpoint 5 and Checkpoint 7.
  3. For 50KM participants, one drop bag will be placed at Checkpoint 5, which is also the finish line.


Notes: Participants are only allowed to use the bag provided by the organizer for the drop bag counter.


General Info

  1. As you prepare for the challenging journey ahead, please be aware that the entire route will be covered in 100% tarmac. Make sure you're ready to face the heat.
  2. We strongly encourage participants to register in the category that matches your experience level. If you choose to debut in a category you haven't previously attempted, ensure you have trained adequately and are fully prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.
  3. Please read the Important Notice, Terms & Conditions, and Official Rules thoroughly before registering. It is your responsibility to be aware of all requirements.
  4. All personal information must be entered in uppercase letters and should match the details on your Identification Card.
  5. Please note that all entry fees are non-refundable. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who provides false information, fails to complete the payment, or does not meet the entry requirements.
  6. We expect all participants to demonstrate respect for each other and practice good sportsmanship throughout the event.


REGISTRATION

  1. Registration can be made through our official portal.
  2. Participants must meet the minimum age requirement for their respective categories.
  3. Successful participants MUST collect their race kit in person or through an authorized representative, by presenting a copy or image of the official receipt or identification card.


PICTURE & DOCUMENTATION

  1. The Organizer shall have the right to use photographs and other documentation of Participants taken during the event for purposes related to this event or any future events.


MANDATORY ITEMS

  1. We will conduct random checks of mandatory items during the race briefing (REPC) and after completing the race.
  2. Participants who fail to bring the required mandatory items may be disqualified from the race.
  3. Please note that these mandatory items are not intended to burden participants; rather, they are implemented for your safety, particularly in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as sudden heavy rain or deviation from the designated course.
  4. Your safety is always our top priority.


TRANSPORTATION

  1. The organizer will not provide transportation for participants after the race. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport home.
  2. Participants in all categories are strongly encouraged to arrange a personal support car, especially those aiming to achieve a personal best time.


DO NOT FINISH (DNF)

  1. Participants who are unable to continue the race for any reason must proceed to the nearest checkpoint and inform the crew on duty as well as their personal support car.


OVER CUT-OFF TIME (COT)

  1. The organizer reserves the right to stop participants who have reached the cut-off time.
  2. Only participants with a personal support car will be allowed to continue after the cut-off time.
  3. All risks are borne by the participants. Personal support cars are also responsible for ensuring the safety of participants and that all their needs are adequately met.


TERMS & CONDTIONS

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without prior notice once the race quota is full.
  2. Entry forms will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of the entry fee.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to limit or refuse entries without providing any reason. Individuals who have been blacklisted may submit an appeal by contacting the Organizer directly.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to contact and/or interview applicants by phone or other means to obtain additional information related to their application.
  5. Entry fees are non-refundable. The Organizer reserves the right to reject or revoke an entry, even after acceptance, if any applicant provides false information, fails to make the required payment, or does not meet the stated entry requirements.
  6. Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control (including heavy rain, thunderstorms, natural disasters, or public rallies), no refund of the entry fee will be made, and the Organizer shall bear no further responsibility or liability.
  7. Running is not a risk-free sport. Each participant must ensure that they are medically and physically fit before and during the event. Participants are fully responsible for their own health and condition. The Organizer shall only be liable for personal injury or death if it is caused by the Organizer’s gross negligence.
  8. The Organizer reserves the right to disallow or disqualify any participant who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to take part in the event. In the event of injury during the race, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis based on recommendations from the medical team appointed by the Organizer.
  9. The Organizer and its agents shall not be held responsible for any parking-related issues at the venue. Participants are advised to follow the instructions of traffic personnel when parking. The Organizer and its agents will not be liable for any loss or damage, including break-ins or vandalism, to participants’ vehicles. Participants are advised to exercise proper vigilance when parking their vehicles.
  10. Respect for other participants, volunteers, and event staff is mandatory. Any harassment or disruptive behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
  11. By registering this event participants are agreeing with all the term and condition stated.


GHOST RUNNER/ ILLEGAL BIB

  1. Unauthorized participants, including ghost runners and individuals using non-registered or illegal bibs, are strictly prohibited and are not allowed along the participant route.
  2. The safety of all participants and the general public is our top priority, to prevent any potential risks or losses during the event.
  3. If you have obtained a bib from another participant, kindly notify the Organizer so that the necessary changes to the participant’s name can be made accordingly.
