1. General Information
1.1 The Bung Sadung Climbathon Trail Fun & Peak Hike 2026 is organised by the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) Kampung Bunga in collaboration with Serian District Council and partners.
1.2 By registering, participants agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and instructions issued by the organisers.
1.3 The organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The event is open to all individuals locally and internationally.
2.2 There is no age limit, however participants under 18 years old must obtain parental/guardian consent.
2.3 Participants must be physically fit and in good health to take part in hiking activities.
3. Registration & Fees
3.1 Registration is confirmed only upon full payment of the applicable fee.
3.2 Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3.3 Categories:
Fun & Easy Hike (3KM)
Reach The Limit Hike (6KM)
3.4 The organiser reserves the right to close registration once the quota is reached.
4. Event Categories & Participation
4.1 Participants must adhere to the category they registered for.
4.2 Route distances:
-Fun Hike: approximately 3KM
-Peak Hike: approximately 6KM
4.3 Participants must follow designated routes and checkpoints.
5. Safety & Health
5.1 Participants join the event at their own risk.
5.2 The organiser shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, accident, or damage during the event.
5.3 Participants must:
a. Follow safety briefings and instructions
b. Wear appropriate attire and footwear
c. Carry sufficient water and personal essentials
5.4 The organiser reserves the right to stop any participant deemed unfit to continue.
5.5 Medical and emergency teams will be on standby, but participants are responsible for their own health condition.
6. Checkpoints & Cut-Off Times
6.1 Participants must comply with all checkpoint and cut-off times set by the organiser.
6.2 Participants who fail to meet cut-off times may be disqualified or required to stop for safety reasons.
7. Environmental Responsibility
7.1 Participants must respect nature and avoid littering.
7.2 Any participant found damaging the environment may be disqualified.
8. Code of Conduct
8.1 Participants must display good sportsmanship and respect other participants, officials, and volunteers.
8.2 Any misconduct, including dangerous behaviour, may result in disqualification without refund.
9. Event Changes / Cancellation
9.1 The organiser reserves the right to:
-Postpone
-Cancel
-Modify routes or schedules
due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
9.2 No refund will be provided in such cases.
