Water and Energy Consumer Association of Malaysia (WECAM) was established to protect consumer interest of all groups in the life cycle of Water and Energy sectors. In view of the ever pressing climate change issue, these two sectors will be most affected. WECAM is also a technical support group (i.e. engineering, analysis and programming) to Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (FOMCA). The history of WECAM starts with the formation of FOMCA in 1973.
