Oktoberfest 2026

Oktoberfest is a “Volksfest”, a people’s festival, which draws people from far and wide, so don’t expect a quiet and lonely evening. The MGS Oktoberfest is the ONLY PLACE WITH a traditional Bavarian tent setup in the Northern region of Malaysia, don't miss out! We will continue to have the popular band “Frankenräuber” from Bavaria with us. 

• Date: 30^th October and 31^st October 2026 (Fri & Sat)
• Time: 7pm onwards
• Venue: Malaysian-German Society, Penang

Buy your tickets in advance (in Aug: RM 30/ in Sept & Oct: RM40) as it’s more expensive on the door. Please decide on which day you want to visit our festival, as you need to buy a ticket for either Friday or Saturday. Your ticket will not be valid on the other day and non-changeable.

Pre-Sale will close early if tickets are sold out but in any case, by 29^th October.

• Children 15 years and below enter for free. 
• From 16 years old onwards they need a ticket and will also be entered in the lucky draw.
• Ticket holders and participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to enter.

· Admission subject to security / bag check at entry point.

· Ticket holders must present their tickets upon entry for verification. You can either print your ticket or present the digital version.

· Alcohol Consumption Age - Attendees will need to be at least 21 years old on the date of the event and may be asked for photo IC / ID as proof of age.

· Ticket holders and participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to enter.

· Visitors of the Oktoberfest participate on their own risk. The MGS is not responsible for any mishaps / injuries.

· This ticket serves as a Temporary Membership of the MGS for the month of October 2025 (*benefits varies according to category)

· We reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised details for the event at short notice.

· No refund on tickets or exchange for another day will be made under any circumstances.
