TICKET PURCHASE & EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective for all tickets issued from 2026 onwards
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR TICKET PURCHASE. BY PURCHASING A TICKET, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS SET OUT BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT PURCHASE A TICKET.
These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern the purchase, use, and attendance of all events hosted under this Stand-Up Comedy Talk Show ('the Event', 'the Show'). The Event Organiser ('We', 'Us', 'Our') reserves all rights to enforce these Terms to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
1. TICKET PURCHASE & ISSUANCE
- All tickets are sold exclusively through Ticket2U, the official authorised ticketing platform for this Event (www.ticket2u.com.my). Any ticket purchased from any other source — including third-party resale sites, social media listings, or street vendors — may be an unauthorised copy and will not be honoured at the venue.
- All tickets are issued electronically ('e-Tickets'). Physical tickets will not be issued under any circumstances.
- Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in Section 7 (Cancellation & Postponement) of these Terms.
- The ticket price displayed at checkout is the price applicable at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and may vary by category or zone.
- Ticket prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where stated. Processing fees, service charges, and convenience fees are additional and non-refundable.
- A maximum of SIX (6) tickets may be purchased per transaction per verified identity document (NRIC/Passport). Bulk purchases or requests for additional allocations must be directed to the Organiser's official channels.
- Ticket allocations are subject to availability and may be adjusted at any time at the Organiser's sole discretion.
- By completing the purchase, the buyer confirms they are at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental/guardian consent where required.
2. IDENTITY VERIFICATION & ADMISSION
- All ticket holders must present a valid, original government-issued photo identification (NRIC, MyKad, Passport, or equivalent) matching the name on the ticket at the point of entry. Digital copies may not be accepted.
- Failure to present valid identification may result in denial of entry without any refund.
- The Organiser reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify a ticket holder's identity at any time before or during entry.
- Entry is strictly limited to persons aged 18 years and above. Minors between 13 and 17 years of age are only permitted entry when accompanied by a parent or guardian (aged 21 or above) who holds a valid ticket.
- Children aged 12 and below are strictly not permitted entry, regardless of accompaniment.
- Third parties who did not complete the ticket purchase may not use the ticket. If you purchased tickets on behalf of others, each individual must still present their own identification at the venue gate.
- The Organiser and venue security staff reserve the absolute right to refuse entry to or eject any person whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or potentially harmful to others, without any obligation to refund.
- Late admission is at the discretion of venue management. Latecomers may be asked to wait in designated areas until a suitable break in the show.
3. SEATING ARRANGEMENT
- This Event operates on an assigned seating format. Seat assignments are confirmed at the time of purchase and are final.
- Seats are allocated on a best-available-seat basis by the ticketing system. The Organiser does not guarantee that groups purchasing multiple tickets will be seated together.
- Seats cannot be changed, swapped, or cancelled after purchase. It is the buyer's responsibility to review the seating plan before confirming payment.
- Occupying a seat other than the one stated on your ticket is strictly prohibited. Venue staff may direct you to your assigned seat.
- The Organiser reserves the right to alter seating arrangements for operational, safety, or technical reasons. In such cases, alternative seating of comparable value will be provided where possible.
4. QR CODE & TICKET VALIDITY
- Each e-Ticket contains a unique QR code which must be presented for scanning upon entry. The QR code is valid for single entry only.
- Once scanned and validated, the ticket is considered used and cannot be re-validated, regardless of the reason (e.g., accidental exit, presentation by an unauthorised person).
- Tampering with, altering, defacing, or duplicating the QR code — in whole or in part — will render the ticket invalid immediately.
- Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets are the sole responsibility of the ticket holder. The Organiser will not replace lost or destroyed tickets.
- Screenshots, printed copies, or digital reproductions of e-Tickets are accepted only if the QR code is legible and unaltered. The Organiser reserves the right to verify authenticity.
- Possession of a ticket does not grant the holder any intellectual property rights over the branding, logos, trademarks, or artistic works associated with the Event.
5. VENUE RULES & AUDIENCE CONDUCT
We want every audience member to have the best possible time. The following rules are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Audience members must conduct themselves in a respectful, lawful manner at all times within the venue premises.
- Heckling, disruptive shouting, or behaviour that interferes with the performance or the experience of other audience members is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate ejection without refund.
- Intoxicated individuals will be refused entry or removed from the venue at the discretion of security staff.
- Outside food and beverages of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the venue. This includes packed meals, snacks, bottled drinks, canned beverages, and alcohol. Food or drinks purchased within the venue (where available) are subject to the venue's own consumption rules.
- The following items are additionally prohibited inside the venue: weapons of any kind; illegal substances or controlled drugs; laser pointers; large bags or backpacks exceeding the venue's size limit; professional camera equipment; and any item deemed dangerous or disruptive by the Organiser or venue management.
- Ticket holders consent to a security search of their person and belongings upon entering the venue. Refusal to submit to a search may result in denial of entry.
- The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to eject any person found in possession of prohibited items, exhibiting offensive behaviour, or violating these Terms — without refund.
- All venue-specific rules and regulations apply in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict, venue rules take precedence within the venue premises.
- The Organiser assumes no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought into the venue.
6. PHOTOGRAPHY, RECORDING & MEDIA
- Photography, audio recording, and video recording of the performance are strictly prohibited during the Event unless prior written consent has been obtained from the Organiser.
- Personal photography for non-commercial purposes may be permitted in designated areas or at specific times (e.g., pre-show or intermission). Any such permissions will be communicated by venue staff.
- Unauthorised recordings made in violation of these Terms may be confiscated and deleted. Legal action may be pursued in cases of commercial distribution or copyright infringement.
- The Organiser and its authorised media partners may film, photograph, and broadcast the Event including crowd footage. By attending the Event, you consent to being filmed or photographed and to such content being used for promotional or commercial purposes without compensation.
- No drone or aerial recording devices are permitted on or near the venue without express written permission.
7. CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT & REFUNDS
- All ticket sales are final. Refunds and exchanges are not permitted under any circumstances.
- In the event the Show is officially postponed by the Organiser, your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date unless otherwise advised via official channels.
- If the Show is cancelled entirely due to reasons within the Organiser's reasonable control, a refund of the base ticket price (excluding service or processing fees) will be offered.
- The Organiser shall not be liable for any refund or compensation in the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God; natural disasters; pandemic or public health emergencies; government or regulatory directives; venue damage; or technical failures beyond the Organiser's control.
- If a performer is unable to appear due to illness, injury, travel disruption, or any other cause beyond the Organiser's control, the Show may proceed with a substitute performer or a modified programme. No refund will be issued in such cases.
- In the event of partial cancellation (e.g., shortened show), no refund will be offered unless the Show ends before completing 50% of its scheduled running time, at which point the Organiser will determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion.
- Refund requests, where applicable, must be submitted through Ticket2U (www.ticket2u.com.my) within the timeframe communicated by the Organiser. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on Ticket2U.
8. CHANGES TO EVENT & PROGRAMME
- The Organiser reserves the right to change, substitute, or cancel any performer, act, or segment of the programme at any time without prior notice.
- Event start times, running times, and intermission schedules are indicative and subject to change.
- Audience capacity, seating configurations, and stage layouts may be altered at the Organiser's discretion for operational, safety, or technical reasons.
- The Organiser will endeavour to communicate material changes via the official event website, social media channels, or email to ticket holders.
9. WEATHER CONDITIONS
- For indoor events, the performance will proceed regardless of weather conditions outside the venue.
- For outdoor events or events with outdoor components, the Show may be affected by adverse weather. The Organiser will make every reasonable effort to proceed with the event; however, in severe weather conditions, the event may be suspended, delayed, or cancelled.
- Rain ponchos or shelter provisions may be available at the venue for outdoor events at the ticket holder's own expense.
- No refund will be offered for weather-related delays where the Show ultimately proceeds.
10. TICKET RESALE & UNAUTHORISED PURCHASING
- The resale, transfer, or commercial redistribution of tickets is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Organiser.
- Any ticket found to have been resold, whether via third-party platforms, social media, or any other channel, will be cancelled and rendered invalid. The original purchaser assumes full responsibility for any such activity.
- The use of automated purchasing software, bots, scripts, or any technology designed to bypass access controls or purchase restrictions is strictly prohibited. Tickets acquired through such means will be cancelled without refund.
- The Organiser reserves the right to take legal action against individuals or entities involved in fraudulent ticket activities.
- Ticket holders are solely responsible for any ticket purchased through unofficial or unauthorised channels. The Organiser accepts no liability for counterfeit or invalid tickets purchased outside official platforms.
11. CONTENT ADVISORY
- This Event features stand-up comedy and talk show content intended for mature audiences. The programme may include strong language, adult humour, satire, social commentary, and themes of a sensitive or provocative nature.
- Audience members who are easily offended by adult-oriented humour, profanity, or politically charged material are advised to consider this before purchasing a ticket.
- By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept the nature of the content and agree that the Organiser shall not be liable for any offence, discomfort, or distress arising from the performance.
- The comedian(s) reserve full creative and artistic freedom over their material. The Organiser does not preview, edit, or censor the performances.
- No person under the age of 18 is permitted to attend without a parent or guardian, given the nature of the content.
12. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY
- Ticket holders voluntarily assume all risks and dangers associated with attendance at the Event, including — but not limited to — personal injury, illness, death, loss, or property damage arising before, during, or after the Event.
- The Organiser, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your attendance or inability to attend the Event.
- In no event shall the Organiser's total liability to any ticket holder exceed the face value of the ticket purchased.
- Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of the Organiser.
13. PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY
- Personal data collected during ticket purchase (including name, identity number, contact details, and payment information) will be processed in accordance with the Organiser's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
- Your data may be shared with Ticket2U (the ticketing platform), venue management, authorised security personnel, and government authorities where legally required.
- By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the Organiser using your contact information to send you event updates, confirmations, and promotional communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- The Organiser will not sell or commercially transfer your personal data to unrelated third parties without your explicit consent.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- All intellectual property associated with the Event — including the show name, branding, logos, performance material, video content, and promotional materials — is the exclusive property of the Organiser and/or its licensors.
- Attendance at the Event does not grant any licence, right, or interest in any such intellectual property.
- Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or publication of any content from the Event is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
15. AMENDMENTS & GOVERNING LAW
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend, update, or supplement these Terms at any time without prior notice. The version of these Terms in effect at the time of the Event shall apply.
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the ticket holder and the Organiser with respect to attendance at the Event.
