Malaysia Security Forum: Managing Risks, Governance & Business Resilience

Malaysia's reputation as one of Southeast Asia's most stable economies and attractive investment destinations is a strategic asset that underpins investment, trade and long-term economic growth. Yet today's operating environment is increasingly shaped by a complex mix of geopolitical tensions, cyber threats, disinformation, supply chain disruptions and evolving regulatory expectations. These challenges are no longer confined to governments or security agencies—they have become boardroom issues that influence business continuity, corporate governance and organisational resilience.

The inaugural Malaysia Security Forum: Managing Risks, Governance & Business Resilience provides a rare platform for senior leaders from government, diplomacy, business, civil society and academia to examine how these developments are reshaping organisations and Malaysia's broader operating environment. Through cross-sector dialogue, the Forum will explore the leadership, governance and strategic considerations needed to strengthen resilience, navigate uncertainty and support informed decision-making in an increasingly complex world.

Through a fireside chat and panel discussion, participants will hear diverse perspectives from distinguished practitioners, including a former national counterterrorism leader, a former Malaysian ambassador, leading academics and an experienced business executive. Together, they will examine the implications of today's evolving security landscape for organisations, share practical insights from their respective fields, and discuss how stronger collaboration across sectors can enhance business resilience and Malaysia's long-term competitiveness.

Designed as an executive-level convening, the Forum is intended for senior leaders across government, business, academia and civil society, including board directors, senior executives, policymakers, diplomats, legal and governance professionals, as well as risk and security practitioners. Alongside the programme, participants will have the opportunity to connect during a dedicated networking reception, fostering meaningful conversations and building relationships across the public and private sectors with leaders shaping Malaysia's security, governance and business agenda.

1. Registration for the Malaysia Security Forum: Managing Risks, Governance & Business Resilience is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
2. As this Forum is a fundraising initiative by INITIATE.MY, all ticket purchases are non-refundable.
3. If a registered participant is unable to attend, a substitute attendee may be nominated at no additional cost. Requests for attendee replacement must be submitted via email to [email protected] no later than one (1) working day before the event and must include the replacement attendee's full name, designation, organisation and contact details.
4. INITIATE.MY reserves the right to make changes to the programme, speakers, venue, schedule or event format where necessary. Such changes shall not entitle participants to a refund.
5. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser's reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure, public health emergencies, venue unavailability or government directives, INITIATE.MY reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or modify the event.
6. Registration fees may not be transferred to future events unless otherwise approved by the organiser.
7. By registering for the Forum, participants consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded during the event. INITIATE.MY may use such materials for promotional, educational and reporting purposes.
8. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. INITIATE.MY reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove any participant whose conduct is deemed disruptive, inappropriate or detrimental to the event. Participants found to have engaged in harassment or any unlawful conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities.
9. Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the administration of the event and related communications.
10. The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time where reasonably necessary.
