KARAK CRUSHER 2016 is a new and exciting weekend endurance racing event that includes an “MTB JAMBOREE” and a “GOAT RUN” held alongside a 2-day “Local Community Carnival”. The event will be held at Kampung Sungai Dua, Karak, Pahang Darul Makmur.

The MTB JAMBOREE will be an exhilarating, challenging yet achievable cross country MTB race traversing paved road and off-road trails. The majority of the 30 – 35 kilometers trail is off-road and participants will go through terrain with its ascent, descent, twists and turns with surfaces varying from compacted soil, mud, steps, streams with boulders and the forest floor.

The Local Community Carnival, promoting fresh local produce will be filled with entertainment, fun and games and will also feature local fruits including varieties of Durian, The King of Fruits for visitors to enjoy.

With a target to attract over 5,000 visitors, 1,000 – 1,500 participants are expected to take part in each event. Located along the Karak Highway, Kampung Sungai Dua sits near forest reserves and the Titiwangsa Mountain Range. Its natural surroundings and exceptional view together with Orang Asli villages, farms, orchards and plantations makes Kampong Sungai Dua a perfect venue for an outdoor recreation area.
