SOP Fun Run 2026 is a family-friendly community fun run organised by Spectrum of Possibilities Sdn. Bhd. in conjunction with World Mental Health Day 2026.The event aims to bring together families, children, healthcare professionals, educators, businesses, and the community to promote autism awareness, early intervention, mental wellbeing, inclusiveness, and healthy lifestyles.

The event will feature:

More than just a run, SOP Fun Run 2026 is a community movement that celebrates every child’s progress while fostering a more inclusive and supportive society.

Terms & Conditions

Registration

1. Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment.
2. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any exceptions will be at the sole discretion of the organiser.
3. Race pack items (including the event T-shirt, race bib, finisher medal and other participant entitlements) are guaranteed only for participants who complete registration before the registration closing date. T-shirt sizes are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Participants registering under the Special Needs category may be requested to provide relevant information regarding their support or accessibility needs for event planning and safety purposes. All information will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Event Participation & Safety

5. This is a non-competitive family fun run. There will be no official race timing or ranking.
6. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate. The organiser reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant appears unfit or poses a safety risk.
7. Participants take part in the event at their own risk.
8. Children below 12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a registered parent or legal guardian throughout the event.
9. Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the safety, wellbeing and behaviour of the children under their care.
10. Participants must remain on the designated event route and comply with all instructions given by event officials, volunteers, marshals and emergency personnel.
11. Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, volunteers, staff and members of the public. The organiser reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate.
12. Participants should wear suitable attire and footwear appropriate for walking or running.

Photography & Privacy

13. Participants consent to photography, videography and audio recordings during the event. The organiser reserves the right to use such materials for publicity, marketing and future promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.
14. Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event administration, participant communication and event-related purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Liability

15. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. The organiser shall not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to personal property during the event.
16. In the event of a medical emergency, participants authorise the organiser to obtain appropriate medical assistance on their behalf if necessary. Any related medical expenses shall be the responsibility of the participant or their parent/guardian.
17. The organiser shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss or damage arising from participation in the event, except where such loss is directly caused by the organiser’s negligence.

General

18. The organiser reserves the right to amend the event programme, route, venue, schedule or activities where necessary.
19. The organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government directives or other unforeseen circumstances.
20. The organiser is committed to creating an inclusive event environment and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants with disabilities or special needs where reasonably practicable.
21. By submitting the registration form and completing payment, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
