KUALA KUBU BHARU 21KM ROAD RELAY 2016 will be organized at Stadium Mini, Majlis Daerah Hulu Selangor, Kuala Kubu Bharu on 14th May 2016 (Saturday).

Objectives: The Kuala Kubu Baru 21km Road Relay is organised with the aim to encourage more athletes to take up the sport as well to see the revival of Road Races in Malaysia. It is also to encourage running as a form of healthy sport activities among the public in line with the call for #Fit Malaysia as spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. We have undertaken this project with the hope that this competition will serve as another platform of competition for runners in the country.

Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia is located within the heart of Selangor state. It is bordered by mountainous ranges on all sides except in the East, which is why Kuala Lumpur and its adjoining areas are called the 'Klang Valley'. Its name literally means 'muddy capital' in Malay, because of its establishment in the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers. It was previously part of Selangor until 1971, when it separated to form Malaysia's capital under the Federal Government.
