*IMPORTANT NOTICE*
Please fill in your registration details carefully and accurately. An administration fee may apply for any changes to runner details after registration.
Runners are NOT allowed to run using another participant’s bib. Bib swapping or transferring is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
Race packs must be collected within the designated collection period announced by the Organiser. Uncollected race packs after the event may be deemed unwanted and may be disposed of or re-distributed accordingly.
There will be NO medal replacement for medals that are lost or stolen after the event.
Event T-shirt sizes are subject to availability. No size exchange will be allowed during race pack collection, at the finishing line, or after the event.
Participants agree that photos, videos, and other recordings taken during the event may be used by the organiser for event promotion and marketing purposes.
Failure to comply with the Rules & Regulations may result in disqualification without prior notice.
The Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules, prizes, route, schedule, or other event details when deemed necessary, with or without prior notice.

EVENT CATEGORIES
12KM Adventure Run
Open Category
Veteran Category
Separate categories are available for Women’s Open, Men’s Open,Women Veteran, and Men Veteran.
Open to participants with a minimum age of 13 & above. Participants under 18 years old must have parental or guardian consent.
2KM Fancy Dress Run
Open to children and families.
Participants may dress up in any creative costume or theme of their choice.
Parents or guardians are welcome to dress up and participate together with their children.
Children aged 12 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
REGISTRATION
All registration fees are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable, regardless of circumstances.
Registration is valid only after successful payment and confirmation.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that all registration and contact details provided are accurate.
Registered participants are not permitted to change their race category once registration has been confirmed, unless otherwise approved by the Organiser.
Bib numbers and other race credentials are strictly personal and must not be exchanged, transferred, or sold to another person.
Any participant found using another runner’s bib or allowing another person to use their bib may be immediately disqualified.
Completion and submission of the registration form confirms the participant’s agreement to abide by these Terms & Conditions and the event’s applicable policies.
The Organiser shall not be responsible for failed, delayed, or unsuccessful transactions caused by technical issues, banking restrictions, incorrect payment information, or other circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control.
RACE PACK COLLECTION
Race packs must be collected at the designated venue and within the collection period announced by the Organiser.
Participants are responsible for collecting their own race packs or making arrangements permitted by the Organiser.
Race packs not collected within the stipulated collection period may be forfeited without refund.
No race pack collection will be permitted after the event unless otherwise announced by the Organiser.
There will be no race pack postage after the event.
RUNNING
Participants must run with the bib provided to them.
Participants are only allowed to run with their own bib.
Bib swapping, transferring, or running under another participant’s identity is strictly prohibited.
Any participant caught bib swapping may be immediately disqualified.
Participants must follow the designated race route, instructions from race officials, and all event safety regulations.
The Organiser reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant who is deemed to be running unsafely, violating event rules, or causing disruption to other participants.
PRIZES
The Organiser reserves the right to amend prize categories, prize amounts, or other prize details when deemed necessary.
Prizes may be awarded in trophy or vouchers (where applicable), at the Organiser’s discretion.
Prize winners may be required to undergo verification before receiving their prizes.
Participants must provide accurate personal information where required for prize collection.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant from receiving a prize if the participant is found to have violated the event rules or provided inaccurate information.
The Organiser’s decision regarding prize eligibility and results shall be final.

Fancy Dress Run participants who would like an Event T-shirt may purchase one separately, subject to availability.
T-SHIRT ADD-ON
Event T-shirts may be purchased separately as an add-on.
Participants from the 2KM Fancy Dress Run category may also purchase an Event T-shirt if they would like one.
T-shirt sizes are subject to availability.

ORGANISER
Borneo Bird Run 2026 is organised by the Sandakan Borneo Bird Club.
The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, event arrangements, categories, prizes, route, schedule, or other event details at its sole discretion when deemed necessary.
