1. Registration
• Registration is only valid upon successful payment (where applicable).
• Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Participants must ensure all information submitted is accurate.
• ECoS reserves the right to reject any registration containing false or incomplete information.
2. Eligibility
• The event is open to Malaysian citizens and non-citizens.
• Participants below 18 years old must obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian.
• Children participating in family categories must be accompanied by a registered adult.
3. Health and Fitness
Participants confirm that they:
• Are medically fit to participate;
• Understand the physical demands of the event;
• Participate entirely at their own risk.
ECoS reserves the right to prevent any participant from continuing if their health or safety is deemed at risk.
4. Event Rules
Participants shall:
• Obey all instructions from race officials, marshals and volunteers;
• Remain on the designated route;
• Wear their race tag throughout the event;
• Avoid any conduct that may endanger other participants.
ECoS may disqualify participants for misconduct or non-compliance.
5. Event Changes
ECoS reserves the right to:
• Amend the event programme;
• Change the route;
• Postpone;
• Suspend; or
• Cancel the event due to weather, safety, force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.
No refund shall be provided in such circumstances unless otherwise determined by ECoS.
6. Race Pack Collection
Participants are responsible for collecting their race packs during the designated collection period.
Uncollected race packs may be forfeited.
7. Photography and Media
Participants consent to ECoS photographing, filming or recording the event.
ECoS may use these materials for promotional, educational and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
8. Personal Data
Personal data collected shall be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and ECoS Privacy Notice.
Information collected will only be used for event administration, safety, communication and related activities.
9. Liability
Participants acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks.
ECoS, its organising partners, sponsors, volunteers and contractors shall not be liable for:
• Injury;
• Illness;
• Death;
• Property loss;
• Property damage; or
• Other claims arising from participation, except where required by law.
10. Acceptance
Submission of registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
