Participant Indemnity & Waiver of Liability
By purchasing a ticket, registering for, and/or participating in the Hari Kebangsaan Countdown Event at Bloomsvale Skydeck, Level 63 (approximately 280 metres above ground), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk
Entry to the Skydeck involves being at a significant height, and participation in the event may involve certain inherent risks. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation, including but not limited to risks arising from crowd movement, weather conditions, equipment failure, or your own physical or medical condition.
2. Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bloomsvale Shopping Gallery, the Landlord, its management, affiliates, partners, contractors, event organisers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or expense arising out of or in connection with your participation in the event, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
3. Personal Belongings
Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings. The management and organisers shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
4. Health & Safety
Participants should ensure they are medically fit to attend the event. Individuals suffering from vertigo, heart conditions, respiratory illnesses, pregnancy-related concerns, or any medical condition that may be aggravated by heights, crowds, or prolonged standing are advised not to participate or should consult a medical professional beforehand.
5. Children & Minors
Parents or legal guardians are fully responsible for the safety, supervision, and conduct of children or minors under their care throughout the event. The management and organisers shall not be liable for any incident involving children or minors.
6. Photography & Videography Consent
By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. You grant Bloomsvale Shopping Gallery and the event organisers the right to use your image, voice, and likeness for promotional, marketing, publicity, and documentation purposes without compensation.
7. Compliance with Event Rules
Participants must comply with all instructions issued by event staff, security personnel, and management. Any participant who fails to comply with the event rules or whose conduct is deemed unsafe or disruptive may be refused entry or removed from the venue without refund.
8. Event Changes & Cancellation
The Landlord and/or Organiser reserve the right to amend, postpone, reschedule, or cancel the event, its programme, activities, promotions, or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. The Landlord and Organiser shall not be liable for any inconvenience, loss, cost, or damage arising from such changes.
9. Ticket Policy (Non-Refundable)
All ticket purchases are final. Tickets sold are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable, including in the event of postponement, rescheduling, or cancellation of the event due to weather conditions, safety concerns, government directives, force majeure, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Landlord or Organiser.
10. Right to Refuse Entry
The Landlord and Organiser reserve the right to refuse admission to any person who appears intoxicated, poses a safety risk, fails to comply with event rules, or whose attendance may endanger themselves or others.
