MfM BENEFIT 2026 : ROCKING FOR A CAUSE

It was mooted in 2018 with a desire to create a music event for Malaysian musicians that would showcase local musician talents. This fundraising concert also gives a purpose to the concert that is to provide critical assistance to working Malaysian musicians in times of need and to those suffering chronic diseases. The three goals of the inaugural 2026 event are to: • Create a live band concert program with increasing patronage which attracts people of all ages across Malaysia; and abroad; • Deliver a professionally staged, diverse music event which showcases our past and present musician talents; • Raise money and awareness for Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia. We aim to achieve these goals by ensuring that: • Community and Sponsors feel ‘ownership’ of the concert program; • Ensure there is music for everyone to enjoy, for all ages; • Raising awareness of Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia which delivers benefits for local musicians; • Give experience and exposure to up and coming musicians and music graduates; • UNITE all musicians.
