EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Event: 3.5KM Fun Walk & 7KM Fun Run
1. Registration & Participation
By registering for the event, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration.
Each registration is valid only for the participant stated on the registration record/e-ticket, unless officially transferred in accordance with the Organiser's procedures.
Participants must comply with all instructions issued by the Organiser, event officials, volunteers and relevant authorities during the event.
2. Non-Refundable Registration
All registration fees and ticket purchases are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE.
No refund will be provided due to change of mind, personal circumstances, illness, injury, inability to attend, late arrival, failure to participate, or any other reason attributable to the participant.
Participants acknowledge that the event is organised for charitable purposes and that registration fees are intended to support the event's charitable objectives. Accordingly, the purchase of a ticket is considered a commitment to support the charity and is not a refundable purchase.
Failure to attend the event does not entitle the participant to any refund or compensation.
3. Event Cancellation or Postponement
The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, modify or alter the event due to circumstances including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, safety concerns, government directives, venue restrictions, or other circumstances beyond the Organiser's reasonable control.
Where the event is postponed or rescheduled, the original ticket may remain valid for the replacement date, subject to the Organiser's announcement.
Where cancellation or postponement occurs, refunds will not ordinarily be provided, particularly where event costs and charitable commitments have already been incurred.
The Organiser reserves the right to determine the appropriate arrangements in the event of cancellation or postponement.
4. Event Changes
The Organiser reserves the right to amend the event route, programme, starting time, venue arrangements, activities, prizes, entitlements, or other event details where reasonably necessary.
Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
5. Participant's Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit and medically able to participate in the selected activity.
Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate medical advice before participating if they have any concerns regarding their ability to undertake physical activity.
Participants must immediately inform event officials if they feel unwell, injured or unable to continue.
Participants must follow all safety instructions and must not engage in conduct that may endanger themselves or others.
6. Minors
Participants below the applicable age of majority must obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian where required.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising minors participating in the event.
7. Personal Belongings
The Organiser shall not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to participants' personal belongings brought to or left at the event venue.
8. Photography, Video & Publicity
By participating in the event, participants acknowledge that photographs, videos and other recordings may be taken during the event.
The Organiser may use such photographs, videos and recordings for legitimate event, promotional, publicity, social media and charitable purposes without further compensation to the participant.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify the Organiser where reasonably practicable.
9. Ticket Transfer
Tickets may only be transferred to another participant with the Organiser's approval and in accordance with the Organiser's registration procedures.
The Organiser reserves the right to reject or invalidate any unauthorised resale or transfer of a ticket.
Any fraudulent, duplicated, altered or unauthorised ticket may be rejected without refund.
10. E-Ticket & Event Entry
Participants must present a valid e-ticket or registration confirmation when required for event entry or collection of event entitlements.
Each ticket is valid for one registered participant only unless otherwise stated.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket is found to be invalid, duplicated, altered or obtained through unauthorised means.
11. Charity & Event Proceeds
The event is organised for charitable purposes.
Registration and related event proceeds will be utilised in accordance with the Organiser's charitable objectives and applicable event expenses.
Participants acknowledge that their registration constitutes support for the charitable objectives of the event.
12. Organiser's Rights
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation, remove a participant from the event, or take any other reasonable action where a participant breaches these Terms & Conditions, engages in unsafe or disruptive behaviour, or fails to comply with instructions from event officials.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By completing registration and/or purchasing an event ticket, the participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
The Organiser's decision on matters relating to the event shall be final, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
These Terms & Conditions may be amended by the Organiser where reasonably necessary. Participants are advised to check the latest event information issued by the Organiser before attending.
