Connecting Today’s Curiosity with Tomorrow’s Opportunities


Ideas Playground 2026 is a two-day skills and industry discovery event designed for children, teenagers, families, educators and industry players to explore future possibilities through real-world experiences.


Instead of simply asking young people what they want to be, Ideas Playground gives them the opportunity to try, discover and experience different skills and industries for themselves.

EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

By registering for, purchasing a ticket to, and/or attending Ideas Playground 2026, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Ticket Purchase & Registration

  • All tickets and activity slots are subject to availability and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Attendees are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted during registration is complete and accurate.

  • Each ticket is valid only for the event, date, ticket category and/or session stated on the ticket.

  • The Organiser may impose limits on the number of tickets or activity slots that may be purchased or registered by each attendee.

2. Ticket Validity

  • Tickets are valid only for the date, event and session indicated.

  • Tickets may not be duplicated, resold or reproduced for commercial purposes without prior approval from the Organiser.

  • Each QR code or ticket may only be used once unless otherwise expressly stated.

  • Invalid, duplicated, altered or tampered tickets may be rejected.

3. General Admission & Event Entry

  • Attendees must present a valid e-ticket or QR code for registration and/or entry where required.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to verify ticket and registration information.

  • Attendees may be requested to provide identification or other supporting information where reasonably necessary.

  • General admission to Ideas Playground does not automatically include participation in paid hands-on activities unless specifically stated in the ticket category purchased.

4. Hands-On Activity Tickets

  • Each RM10 Activity Ticket entitles the participant to one (1) hands-on activity during the selected 30-minute activity batch.

  • Participants must attend the date and time slot stated on their ticket.

  • An Activity Ticket does not guarantee a specific activity, pavilion or activity partner unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Activities within each time slot are subject to availability and capacity.

  • Public places for each individual activity are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Participants may be allocated to another available activity within the same time slot if their preferred activity is full.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to determine or adjust activity allocation where required for crowd management, safety or operational reasons.

5. Activity Check-In & Late Arrival

  • Participants are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before their selected activity time slot for registration, check-in and activity allocation.

  • Participants who arrive late may lose their place in the selected activity batch.

  • Where possible, late participants may be offered another available activity or time slot, but this is not guaranteed.

  • Activity tickets that are not redeemed within the applicable session may be considered forfeited.

6. Activity Participation & Safety

  • Participants must follow all safety instructions, rules and directions provided by the Organiser, activity partner, facilitator or venue.

  • Certain activities may have age, height, ability, health, clothing or other participation requirements.

  • Where an activity is deemed unsuitable or unsafe for a participant, the Organiser or activity facilitator may refuse participation and, where possible, offer an alternative activity.

  • Participants must wear appropriate attire and safety equipment where required.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to stop or modify an activity where necessary for safety reasons.

7. Children & Minors

  • Children and minors must comply with the relevant age requirements, supervision arrangements and participation conditions.

  • Parents, guardians, teachers and accompanying adults remain responsible for the minors under their care unless otherwise expressly arranged by the Organiser.

  • Parents or guardians should ensure that the selected activities are suitable for the participating child.

  • Where an activity requires parental or guardian consent, participation may be refused if such consent is not provided.

8. Event Programme & Changes

  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend, substitute, reschedule or cancel any activity, facilitator, speaker, partner, programme component, pavilion, session, venue area or schedule where reasonably necessary.

  • Activities and participating organisations are subject to final confirmation and may change without prior notice.

  • Where an activity becomes unavailable, the Organiser may offer an alternative activity within the same session or another available session.

  • Significant event changes will be communicated through the Organiser's official channels where practicable.

9. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Tickets are generally non-refundable, except where otherwise determined by the Organiser or where the relevant event/session is cancelled without a suitable alternative being provided.

  • Failure to attend, late arrival, change of mind or inability to participate in a preferred activity does not automatically entitle the attendee to a refund.

  • Where a refund is approved, the refund process and applicable conditions will be communicated through the official event or ticketing platform.

  • Any ticketing platform or transaction fees may be subject to the respective ticketing provider's terms and conditions.

10. Attendee Conduct

  • All attendees are expected to behave respectfully, responsibly and safely throughout the event.

  • Harassment, threatening behaviour, deliberate damage, unsafe conduct, disruption of activities or failure to follow reasonable instructions may result in removal from the event.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation or remove an attendee where necessary to protect the safety, security or enjoyment of other attendees.

11. Photography, Video & Media

  • Photography, videography and other forms of recording may take place throughout Ideas Playground 2026 for documentation, media, publicity, educational and promotional purposes.

  • By attending the event, attendees acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in photographs or video recordings taken in public event areas.

  • Parents, guardians or schools responsible for minors should inform the Organiser in advance of any specific media restrictions applicable to a participant, where required.

12. Personal Belongings

  • Attendees are responsible for safeguarding their own personal belongings.

  • The Organiser, event partners and venue will not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Health, Safety & Emergencies

  • Attendees are responsible for informing the relevant facilitator or Organiser of any condition, allergy, limitation or other matter that may affect safe participation in an activity.

  • In the event of an emergency, attendees must follow instructions issued by the Organiser, venue management, security personnel or emergency services.

  • Participation in activities is undertaken subject to the inherent risks reasonably associated with the particular activity.

14. Liability

  • The Organiser will take reasonable measures to provide a safe and properly managed event.

  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Organiser will not be responsible for loss, injury, damage, delay or disruption arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

15. Organiser's Rights

  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary.

  • Any updated Terms & Conditions may be published through the official event website, registration platform or other official communication channels.

  • Where operational, safety or programme decisions are required during the event, the Organiser may make reasonable decisions in the interests of participants and the event as a whole.
