Join Shelter Home for Children’s 45 FOR 45 Virtual Charity Run as we celebrate 45 years of caring for children and raise awareness about child abuse.

Run or walk 4.5KM anywhere, anytime from 1 July to 30 September 2026. With a RM45 registration fee, every participant can play a part in supporting children who have experienced abuse, neglect and vulnerability.

1. Event Overview
   The “45 for 45 Virtual Run (End Child Abuse)”, organised in conjunction with Shelter Home for Children’s 45th Anniversary, is a virtual charity run designed to raise awareness and support efforts to end child abuse. This meaningful initiative aims to inspire more people to stand with abused and vulnerable children. Participants may complete the run at any time and in any location within the official event period.

2. Event Period

Registration Period: 1 July 2026 - 31 December  
Run period: The run can be conducted from 1 July 2026 until 31 December 2026.

Participants may complete the run within the stated run period only.

1. Eligibility
    Participation is open to everyone. By registering for the event, participants agree to comply with all Terms & Conditions stated herein.

2. Registration & Payment
   The registration fee is RM45 per participant.

Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment using the payment method stated in the form.

Registration is only valid upon successful submission of required details by each participant. Each registration form is valid for one (1) participant only.

Registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

1. Distance Requirement
   Participants are required to complete a distance of 4.5KM.

The 4.5KM distance may be completed in one session or accumulated across multiple sessions within the official run period.

1. Virtual Run Format
   This is a virtual run. Participants may complete the run at any time, any location, and any route, at their own pace within the official run period.

Participants are required to track their run using approved tracking applications or devices.

1. Result Submission
   Participants are required to submit proof of completion through strava.

Accepted tracking applications/devices and submission requirements will be announced by the organiser.

Proof of completion (e.g., screenshot of completed run showing distance, date, and time) must be submitted as instructed by the organiser.

Failure to submit valid proof within the stated deadline may result in disqualification from entitlement to finisher items and eligibility for lucky draw (if applicable).

3. Collection of Items
    Event items are strictly available via self-pickup only. Delivery service will not be provided by the organiser. Participants are responsible for collecting their items within the collection period announced.

4. Refund & Transfer Policy

• Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

• Registration is non-transferable.

1. Participant Responsibility & Liability
    Participants take part in the event at their own risk. The organiser shall not be held responsible or liable for any injuries, accidents, loss, damage, or mishaps suffered before, during, or after participation in the event.

2. Health & Safety
    Participants are encouraged to ensure they are physically fit and capable of completing the run safely.

3. Photography & Media Consent
    By participating in the event, participants consent to the use of their names, photographs, videos, or related media content by the organiser for promotional, publicity, and reporting purposes without compensation.

4. Privacy Policy
    Participants’ personal information collected for the event will be used solely for event management purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

5. Purpose of the Event
    This event is organised as a charity initiative to support efforts in improving the lives of abused children and to raise awareness on ending child abuse.

6. Amendments

The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary. Any updates will be communicated through official event channels.

17. General Terms

The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides false information or fraudulent tracking results.

All decisions made by the organiser are final.
