Anna Lin Shu Rong is a famous songbird from the 80s whose popularity remains high today. Her signature duet songs (Wu Yan De Jie Ju - 无言的结局) and (Zuo Ye Xing Chen - 昨夜星辰) which were popular hits in the 80s, are perennial favourites with karaoke goers. In 1978, Anna participated in a CTV My Life contest; she emerged champion for her impersonation of Feng Fei-fei. She in fact earned the title of “Shadow Artist” (影子歌后) because her voice and looks were very similar to Feng Fei-fei. The amiable Anna also won the coveted award of Best Female Singer at the Golden Melody Awards in 1992 and 1994.

Loh Shi Fung is a well-known Taiwanese artist, singer, actor and producer. He was awarded with the Best Vocalist Award (Dialect) at the 12th Golden Melody Awards in 2001, and Best Taiwanese Male Vocalist Award at the 15th Golden Melody Awards in 2004. In 1986, Loh launched his first Chinese album (Shan Bian De Lian – 善变的脸) that became a huge success and helped to cement his superstar status in the Chinese music industry in the years following that. He has since gone on to launch about 70 albums.
