Stonyhurst Penang Model United Nations (also known as SHPGMUN) is a mainly student-led Model United Nations conference. This March 5th-7th 2027 marks an important milestone for us as we look forward to hosting you at our inaugural conference.

Model United Nations (MUN) conferences serve as educational simulations of United Nations procedures and offer a platform for young people to learn more about international matters. Students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives gather for a Model UN conference, where they assume the roles of delegates from their chosen countries and use diplomacy to debate urgent global issues. Like our host school, Stonyhurst International School Penang, we strive for youth not only to hone their own diplomatic expertise but also to become Men and Women for Others.
