Why MMI MAID 2016?

Pre-university is the time when individuals decide on his or her future and career. Many students are often forced into pursuing Medicine by many external pressures. When we have a decision based on the views of others, we might make the wrong decisions. Most students do not know what medical school is about, or what they will be doing in a medical school. In other words, they enter medical school without the right mindset and expectations.

The aim of MMI MAID is to give premedical students the opportunity to gain insight on how life as a medical student is like. The premedical students will also have the chance to observe and take part in common Medicine teaching tools; such as problem based learning (PBL) sessions and bed side teaching (BST) sessions. Through this event, the premedical student will then be able to make an informed decision if he or she is really fit for medical school.
