Come be mesmerised by Tsai Chin, Taiwan’s popular pop and folk singer from Taiwan who sings mainly Mandarin and Hokkien songs, and is best known for her lovely rich and emotive vocals. Adding to her popularity is her brilliant stage persona: she comes across as a highly affable and witty person.

Tsai Chin was very popular in Taiwan from the late 70s to the mid-90s, and remains just as famous in mainland China. She continues to have a huge following of fans. Some of her songs are perennial favourites that people have become familiar with, and these include The Forgotten Time, Just Like Your Tenderness, and The Last Night.

Her achievements and popularity are reflected from her album sales. At the 2007 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards, her albums, Tsai Chin Live 2007 and Golden Voice won the award of Top 10-selling Mandarin Albums of the Year.
