His talent is described as the comic with more spin than a high speed turbine, with twists and insights in the daily workings of the average Joe. Gajen is Malaysia's First Chindian Comedian. Starting his foray in comedy in 2009, he is no stranger to the limelight, appearing in Monash’s student magazine Monga, getting interviewed by Capital FM, and even having NTV7 film a documentary about his career as a stand-up comedian.
Today, he has performed in more than 80 comedy shows, sharing stages with comedians from US, UK, Australia and Hong Kong.
With a striking laugh that pierces the stratosphere, the irrepressiblePrakash Daniel is best known for his ever talked about beard and his well known collection of photography on Instagram Beards of Malaysia. A regular performer at Comedy Kao Kao, Crackhouse Comedy Club, TimeOut KL Comedy Thursday, Prakash's insightful observations have produced chuckling choirs when he takes the stage. He also runs Malaysia’s first and longest running open mic show at PJLA called One Mic Stand with two other comics, Keren Bala Devan and Brian Tan. Accompanied by his erstwhile guitar, Tina, Prakash is definitely the serenading stand-up comic to catch.
An aspiring comedian who started doing comedy in school at the age of 12, Dash - Stand up Comic idolizes Danny Bhoy, Bill Cosby, Louise Ck, Anthony Jeselnik. He is still perfecting his art of becoming the ultimate stand up comedian, and audiences enjoy bearing witness to his process. For the past 3 years, Dash been consistently performing at various venues around Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia.
