Details

Northern Hemisphere will be organized at Penang Science Cluster, Gat Lebuh China, George Town, Penang on 29th July 2016 - 28th August 2016 (Friday - Sunday).

* For more information, please visit this website http://georgetownfestival.com/event/northern-hemisphere-2/

Northern Hemisphere is a project by Lightforge, a Penang-based visual projection team of ethical hackers, artists and engineers. Inspired by the work of inventor Buckminster Fuller, the team creates a one-of-a-kind 360° immersive visual experience within a geodesic dome structure.

Lightforge projects have always focused on creating experiential A/V performances, video sculptures and guerilla projection arts, thanks to the ingenious collaboration between George Town-based artist Ammar Khalifa, multimedia developer/projectionist John Kuan and project manager Kim Khiang Toh. Some of their other notable works were featured at Urbanscapes 2014, the ASEAN Youth Leaders Conference 2015 and Tiger Translate 2015 for UK DJ Tim Exile.
