Hou Xiao Yuan 
Hou Xiao Yuan first stamped her mark in a global contest in search of a voice like Teresa Teng's. In the event that enjoyed huge public interest and strong industry support, Hou became the champion, and the recognition she has since received is well deserved. 

At Resorts World Genting's Arena of Stars, her tender voice and persona of gentle innocence combined to conquer her audience. Little wonder the media in Hong Kong and Taiwan have labelled her as the best impersonator of Teresa Teng since the latter's demise in 1995. True enough, Hou touches her audience when she covers Teresa Teng's songs, so touchingly effective she is in impersonating the star. 

Regine Tan 
Acting and singing are two things close to Regine Tan's heart—along with her love for Chinese education. The star has just completed her work in an Astro Hua Hee Dai drama and has plans for a solo album. She has also made time for a charity tour concert, revealing that she feels honoured to raise funds in the name of Chinese school education as she is Chinese-educated herself. 

Regine notes that many people among her audience are from the older generation and hence her preference for familiar classic songs like those by Teresa Teng. It is the audience that she sings for, she adds, so it is their needs that she caters to.
