RBC Race for the Kids Kuala Lumpur will be organized at Perdana Botanical Gardens (Lake Gardens) on 16th October 2016 (Sunday).

Since its launch in 2008, RBC Race for the Kids has raised in excess of US$19.1 million for children’s charities around the globe. The program is part of RBC’s “Kids Pledge”, our five-year, US$100 million commitment to improve the well-being of 1 million children and young people.

For its inaugural launch in 2016, RBC Race for the Kids Kuala Lumpur has set a goal to raise over 90,000 MYR for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia to build a Ronald McDonald Sensory Room at the Selangor and Federal Territory Association for the Mentally Handicapped (SAMH) in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

A family event, RBC Race for the Kids Kuala Lumpur is a scenic 5 km fun run for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Post race, pick up your exculsive goodie bag and medal and then unwind at the family festival. Packed full of entertainment for everyone to enjoy, the fun includes face painting, candy stations, food trucks, twisting balloons, a giant trampoline, magic & dance performances  and carnival sports like Slam Dunk, Break the Can, and High Striker.

All funds raised by RBC Race for the Kids Kuala Lumpur will assist Ronald McDonald House Charities Malaysia to build a Sensory Room at The Selangor and Federal Territory Association for the Mentally Handicapped (SAMH) in Brickfields to benefit youths and children with special needs and learning disabilities.
