Ronggeng is a type of Javanese dance but also used as a slang word in Malay speaking community, which means to have fun dancing. Ronggeng Sound System is a monthly night dedicated to the wide spectrum of underground bass music with emphasis on heavy low end frequencies and melodic rhythms to make your body groove to the music - from dub reggae to jungle, garage to grime, hip hop to footwork, and whatever in between.
Happening every first Saturday, this edition will see our resident Renry Hollins accompanied by DJ / producer Jony. The founder of Maddkidz Studio was also crowned champion at Malaysian DJ Battle Championship in 2011. Join us in the basement and expect nothing less than a night full of heavy bass and freshest tunes that will make you skank like there is no tomorrow.
