Interested in economics, but have no idea where or how to get started? 

The LSESU Malaysia Club proudly brings you - the Economic and Leadership Forum (ELF). This forum was initiated in 2014 with the aim of increasing awareness and providing an intellectually stimulating stage for Malaysian youths to engage in the world of Economics. It also aims for participants to gain an exclusive insight of real world economics in the Malaysian context from industry leaders themselves.

Now, in 2016, with the same aims and vision, we have decided to take an unprecedented step to extend this forum into a two-day event to ensure that participants will have a more thorough and engaging learning experience. The event flow of the forum has been structured in a coherent manner - such a way that in-depth learning will be made conducive.

ELF 2016 will be centered around the theme - "Past Policies, Shaping the Future" - past policies will be delved into for an understanding of how to learn from history from the point of view of an economist. Case studies have been meticulously devised by a multidisciplinary group of students from the London School of Economics, to ensure that important skills including: analytical, evaluative & creative skills will be challenged and honed.

We have also managed to secure a stellar panel of high-profile speakers - all who were involved in developing key industries of the Malaysian economy over crucial periods. They will share their various experiences and it will allow participants to gain a more dynamic perspective of economics.
