ABOUT:
The Rice Bowl Startup Awards, presented by Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) and New Entrepreneurs Foundation, exist to recognise and reward excellence, best practice and innovation in startups across ASEAN. It is the showcase of South East Asia’s skills, achievements and innovation in the eld of business. It provides the benchmark, inspiration and example for all others and it is a hallmark of excellence.
The Rice Bowl Startup Awards is a startup award event where eleven winners will be announced in categories such as Startup of the Year, Founder of the Year, and Disruptor of the Year.
All winners from each of eleven categories will represent Malaysia at the ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards regional finals happening in September, at the Philippines, Manila (venue to be confirmed). The awards will be the headline event of an unconference produced by A SPACE Philippines called RBL.ION.MNL. Winners of the ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards Finals will compete in November at the Global Startup Awards finale, this year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
