The Cooler Lumpur Festival and Poetry Cafe KL present: An interactive poetry and performance workshop with Illya Sumanto & a talk and storytelling-sharing session with Zarina Muhammad.

Women are inherently healers who could turn plant into medicine, transform a seedling into towering trees, and in some cases through destruction enable flowering and flourishing creation. 

If we knew how to unleash and reclaim this inner magic that have been caged by the murky toxic energy caused by cultural baggage, hand-me-down wounds and a whole lot of yucky fast food and binary thinking, what might and can we do with this innate power?

How do we reconcile and reclaim this inner goddess, witch, wise woman and begin to acknowledge, invoke and embody her archetypal power and presence?

Let’s do this together through the reclamation of words, through finding our respective languages of power, through rituals and storytelling, through speaking with and through our senses, our gut, intuition and through the lenses of our individual lived experiences.

Let’s build a sacred fearsome fearless circle that is empowering, regenerating, safe, and nice smelling.
