Yup, you guessed it. We are talking about that really dirty word: Politics.

At Art For Grabs, we are often told to keep our activities family-friendly and not involve politics. It makes us wonder: why we are protecting families from politics? Who is going to protect families FROM politics? If we don't educate families about our rights, how else are we going to protect ourselves and each other? Perhaps we need to keep talking until we make politics family-friendly.

Let's find out how different Malaysian families talk about politics at home. The guests of our politics-friendly family-talkshow are:
Actor Fatimah Abu Bakar and her daughter Sharifah Aleysha,
Lawyer Siti Kasim and her daughter Aneez Yuliani Yuslizar,
Writer Pepper Lim and Eshaan Menon (not related!).
Hosted by Pang Khee Teik, director, Art For Grabs

Yes, and bring your families too!

This is part of Art For Grabs: Family Squad!, Sat 24 & Sun 25 Sep 2016, at Grd Flr, The School, Jaya One, Petaling Jaya.

Location

The School Jaya One
The School Jaya One, Jalan Universiti, 46200, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Art For Grabs
Art For Grabs is the pioneering art bazaar mini fest that began its life at The Annexe Gallery in 2007. Taking place 4 times a year, it has since moved out of The Annexe Gallery and ventured all over Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. With ever increasing numbers of booths, it brings together creative Malaysians selling home-made art, crafts, books, food, anything we can dream up, besides promoting good causes. At the same time, it also features back-to-back events like book launches, forums, works
