The fourth edition of Ronggeng Sound System will see us paying tribute to the very Jamaican culture that inspire us to keep good music alive. This time around we have our friends from outside of Kuala Lumpur to provide the soundtrack for you to skank all night long. Ladies and gents, rudebwois and gyals, its bashment time!

Diggy Dang (New Delhi)
Also better known as the MC, DJ and co-founder of Reggae Rajahs, the first reggae sound system in India and former guitarist of The Ska Vengers. Either with Reggae Rajahs or on his own, Diggy has performed all over Asia and Europe. Most notably, he has been part of major music festivals such as Outlook (Croatia), Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Uprising Reggae (Slovakia) and Ostroda Reggae (Poland).

The dynamic duo Iman and Basil escaped city life and found themselves making music in Langkawi. Armed with soulful vocal, wicked riddim selection and dub sirens, King I & The Easybabasound are always on a mission to promote their rub-a-dub style on the island they live on and keeping it irie wherever they go.

R P D (Manila)
Hailing all the way from Manila, one can easily recognise this rasta from far thanks to his massive dreadlocks. R P D, or Rex as he is known amongst his friends, is part of an experimental dub crew called Royal South Soundsystem. For this edition of Ronggeng, he will join our resident selector Renry Hollins and spit verses on his selection of riddims. This will be their first collaboration but expect a lot of echoes and delays with heavy punchy tunes.
