Melissa Indot, sassy and sweet, funky and beautiful, has her finger firm on the pulse of music that makes you dance and smile.
Fondly known as Sa, has been performing since she was young. At the age of 16, she enthralled the audience at the Royal Albert Hall in London with her performance in the elite octet, The Queensword School Senior Choir. After finishing school, she broke into the UK music scene as part of a duo act “Confucius Says”. They were featured on the UK’s BB1 National Lottery Programme televised live to 14 millions viewers.
In 2005, Melissa returned to Malaysia and continued her musical journey. All her hard work paid off when her first solo album “Eclecticism” won the 2008 Malaysian Music Industry Award (AIM15). She has also opened for international heavyweights like Natalie Cole, Sean Kingston and many others during their concerts in Kuala Lumpur.
Musically Melissa marches to her own beat incorporating electro pop and retro sounds that translates into a multi layered contemporary tune, characterized with profound and meaningful lyrics. Complex and unconventional, Melissa is at best when she performs live, immersing her audience on a musical journey. She is definitely one artiste to watch out for.
