The Thean Hou Temple is a landmark six-tiered Chinese temple in Kuala Lumpur. This temple was built in year 1987, by the Hainanese community living in KL, dedicated to Goddess Tian Hou (The Heavenly Mother) 

This syncretic temple with elements of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism is a grandiose structure and represents a successful combination of modern architectural techniques and authentic traditional design.
