Jazz Ampang World of Music Gathering 2016 will be organized at Jazz Ampang, Dagang Avenue Foodcourt, 68000 Ampang, Kuala Lumpur on 27th November 2016 (Sunday).

For the first time ever, we will be celebrating World Music as the main theme for our 66th edition of Jazz Ampang. 

As our culture derives from different ethniticity and race, and the roots of our nation also came from different corners of the archipelago, making our nation very unique in it's own way. Like a melting pot, the uniqueness transpires in the music too. From joget to zapin to ghazal to gamelan, caklempong, asli, tribal, pop yeah yeah, dangdut, langgam, keroncong etc ; these music continues to be our identity in the worlds map. But, with the influence of the post modern western music such as blues, swing, ragtime, rock n roll, funk etc.....it became much more interesting. 

When everything melt together in this pot, World Music is something that undeniably exist in our blood and will always stay.
