Hand drip coffee brewing is a simple method to prepare a delicious cup of coffee. Commonly used in Japan, this method gains popularity worldwide as a result of the specialty coffee movement.
This workshop by SLO Atelier is intended to introduce the basic techniques of Japannese KONO style hand drip coffee brewing. Through hand drip coffee, one will be able to better appreciate specialty coffee, as a way to embrace slow life leading to good quality living.
At the end of this workshop, students will be able to:
1.Understand the theory of coffee extraction
2.Evaluate sensory attributes in coffee
3.Describe coffee brewing parameters
4.Adjust coffee brewing parameters
5.Understand the influence of coffee dripper’s design on coffee brewing
