This coming July come join us at the International Capacity Building Workshop on Green Growth (#IWGG2017)as a follow up to the International Workshop on Climate Change organized in May 2015.
This year's programme will be addressing issues on how young people can achieve a greener planet, make cities more liveable and sustainable, social inclusion, education and awareness strategies and policies.The International Capacity Building Workshop on Green Growth will also provide an opportunity for young people to discuss, understand, share, find solutions, develop strategies and create partnerships for an inclusive green economy to achieve the SDGs and the post-2015 development.
The International Capacity Building Workshop on Green Growth is a unique platform created to foster dialogue, share experiences, good practices as well as challenges at country, regional and international levels between youth advocates, development partners, NGOs, UN Agencies,related government agencies , bilateral and multilateral agencies and representatives from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).
Selected participants will undergo intensive training by qualified trainers which will consist of using "The Hive" model. "The Hive" model will directly engage workshop participants in a collaborative and interactive manner to learn about key concepts of project planning and implementation. The goal is to crowd source best practices for sustainable development and green growth through an intergenerational, interdisciplinary, and interactive approach.Upon successful training, each participant will be able to execute their projects as a follow-up process.
