DR. VIRAJ PERERA

Dr. Viraj is the Chief Executive Officer of PlaTCOM Ventures Sdn Bhd. His expertise lies in technology transfer and innovation. Dr. Viraj has gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field through working for elite organisations such as the University of Oxford and University of Warwick as well as private companies. Prior to being appointed as the CEO of PlaTCOM Ventures, Dr. Viraj held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Innovation Business Opportunities (IBO) at Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM), the parent organisation of PlaTCOM Ventures Sdn Bhd.

NAZRIN HASSAN

Nazrin Hassan is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Cradle Fund Sdn. Bhd. (Cradle), an organisation that manages the Cradle Investment Programme (CIP) which provides early stage funding for technology start-ups. Nazrin served as a board member of the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) from April 2014 to February 2015 and is currently a board member of Cradle’s venture capital arm, Cradle Seed Ventures (CSV).

CHANDRAN RAMA MUTHY

Chandran Rama Muthy is the CEO of Malindo Air. He is an airline professional with 13 years of experience in Airline Management spanning across five airlines in Asia Pacific. In the last 8 years, key focus has been in the area of revenue management, sales & marketing, airline commercial systems & distributions flight operation with diversified experience in setting up new airline, stations, routes and market development. His current responsibility is heading Malindo Air, a Malaysian based airline and successfully set up the airline from ground zero to an operation of 27 aircraft, over 30 destinations, 80 flight routes and 150 daily flight departures daily.The total staffs reporting direct and indirectly are 2500 Malaysians.

ANDREW TAN

Andrew is a serial entrepreneur and the founding partner in two venture capital firm where he managed a pool of funds totaling up to 50million USD in which he is leading the firm’s investment and management team. Prior to CrowdPlus, Andrew was the Managing Partner and a financial-services investor at Tinkbig Venture and Appshack Asia. While at TinkBig Venture, he led investments in thirty two startup deals with other co VC amounted a total of 10million USD committed fund. Prior to that, Andrew was a private-equity investor where he regularly advised his limited Partners on private-equity deals and fund formation. Before that he successfully listed his company at the MESDAQ Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur Securities Exchange and Hong Kong Growth Enterprise Market where he learned the intricacies of the stock market.

Founder & Chief Psychologist, SportPsych Consulting, Sportify, and Performance Leadership Pte Ltd
Associate Faculty (Psychology & Sports/PE), Singapore University of Social Sciences. Edgar Tham is Singapore's pioneer sport & performance psychologist. He was the former team consultant and travelling psychologist to numerous national teams preparing for the SEA Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, and World Championships since 1993. He is an associate faculty member in Psychology and Sports/PE at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, and co-author of Mental Toughness Strategies (2010) and In the Zone: The Mindset for Peak Performance (1997). Edgar's expertise is in the psychology of peak performance under pressure and stress. As such, he is a much sought-after coach and trainer to high performers from many domains outside of sport, including the military, business, sales, marketing, financial trading, education, etc. Edgar practices what he preaches; as an entrepreneur, he owns and co-runs a few consulting and training companies with regional presence in Southeast Asia. His latest research has led him to identify several important traits associated with successful entrepreneurs across different industries.

AHYAT ISHAK

He is the founder of the ‘Strategic Property Investor Model’, his workshops; seminars, talks and writings have helped Malaysians create immense and sustainable wealth through property investment. He 1st began property investing a decade ago and was a property millionaire before the age of 30, having started from humble beginnings. He is active in the property investment speaking circuit, having spoken in the largest property events in Malaysia and abroad such as MAPEX, iProperty.com, PropertyGuru Expos, MAPIS (Malaysian Annual Property Investment Summit) and MAPC (Malaysian Annual Property Conference). He has appeared on TV and has also received many invitations from developers for talks and consultation. Besides, he also interviewed at BFM89.9.

NADHIR ASHAFIQ

Nadhir Ashafiq is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of TheLorry – an on-demand logistics platform that connects customers to lorry, van and 4x4 drivers. He previously co-founded Glokalise, a social networking app and has experience working in air freight logistics and investment banking
