* Miriam Yeung is a Canto-pop singer and actress from Hong Kong who made it big after rising to fame on television. She began her singing career after winning the third top performer at the TVB's 14th annual New Talent Singing Awards Competition in 1995. Miriam had many hit songs such as “Why Aquarius” , “Small City, Important Matter” and “Maiden’s Prayer”. To date, Miriam has released more than 40 albums in Cantonese and Mandarin. Many of her songs have been mainstream hits and award winning pieces. Her greatest achievement was when she was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards in 2005 for her character, Fung Siu-Man, in the comedy Drink, Drank, Drunk.
