TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Terms and Conditions
These Ticketing Terms & Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to each official ticket, accreditation/hospitality pass (“Ticket”) for Maybank Championship 2023 (“Event”) organised by BIG Events (Bigntall Sdn Bhd) (“Organizer”).
All Tickets sold online are issued electronically only by Ticket2u (“Ticket Seller”) to the Ticket purchasers (“Ticket Holder”)
By purchasing or using a Ticket, a Ticket Holder unconditionally and irrevocably agrees to be bound by, and comply with, (i) these Terms and Conditions; and (ii) any additional terms and conditions as may be specified from time to time.
No refunds or exchange of Tickets will be made under any circumstances. [1][CHN2]
Individuals aged 13 and above must possess their own Ticket for admission. Adult Ticket Holders are responsible to take note of any entry conditions or restrictions imposed on minimum children admission age. Ticket price is exclusive of handling & ticketing fees.
Ticket2u and/or the Organizer [3][CHN4][5]reserves the right to request for further confirmation or documents to verify the identity of the Ticket Holder. In the event such confirmation or documents provided are insufficient to verify the identity of the Ticket Holder, Ticket2u and/or the Organizer and their employees/staff reserve the absolute right to refuse entry.
On ground access is bound by the Terms & Conditions herein and any other additional terms and conditions as may be specified from time to time[6][CHN7][8]. A valid Ticket must be produced to get into the event venue[9][CHN10][11]. Removing any part of and/or, altering and/or defacing the QR code may invalidate the Ticket. The resale of Tickets is strictly prohibited. Ticket2u reserves the right to cancel any Tickets that have been found to be resold. Ticket2u will not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that their contact information (such as email and personal details provided at the time of purchase) is correct and current. Ticket2u is not responsible if any incorrect information results in an undelivered product. In the case of duplicate access on the Event day Ticket Holders are required to show proof of purchase, failing which entry will be denied. Ownership or possession of the ticket does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on the Ticket Holder to, in any way, use, alter, copy and/or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket. Information is collected from those registering with Ticket2u in order to facilitate Ticket or other services available. The information is collected and used in accordance with Ticket2u’s Privacy Policy. [12][CHN13]
By registering, the Ticket Holder provides his/her consent to Ticket2u and the Organizer to process their information and permits sponsors, partners and/or authorised parties to contact the Ticket Holder to receive marketing materials and communications for future events, promotions and any other marketing and promotional activities.
Purchase from Unauthorised Sources / Refusal of Admission
Purchase of Tickets shall only be made through Ticket2u’s designated website at

Any Ticket purchased from any other source may be unauthorised copies and purchaser(s) may be refused admission to the Event. In the event purchasers provide false or incorrect data when making the purchase, the purchaser may be barred from attending the Event.Ticket2u and the Organizer reserves the right, without having the need to refund any amount paid, to refuse the admission to, and/or eject any person whose behaviour does not comply with any rules and regulations that may be set by Ticket2u and/or the Organizer. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold. This ticket cannot be used in any promotion (sweepstakes, give-a-way, etc.) without the express written permission from the Event Owner.
Weather Conditions
As this is an outdoor event, delays, postponements & cancellations due to severe weather conditions are possible. In the event of inclement weather, Ticket Holders are advised to find suitable shelter immediately.
Delay & Postponement
Ticket2u does not allow any exchange or cancellation of Tickets under any circumstances and Tickets sold are neither transferable nor refundable unless otherwise permitted. If there is an Event postponement, the Ticket purchased for the original event date will be applicable[14] and valid for the new event date, unless otherwise notified.
Cancellation of Event
The Organizer [15][CHN16]reserves the right to postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the Event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond its reasonable control. If any of the Event players are unable to attend or participate, no refund can be claimed under any circumstances. [17][CHN18][19]
Consent
By using this ticket, the Ticket Holder consents to any searches for any prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances and recording devices, of the Ticket Holder or their property and waive any right to claims against the Released Parties for such search.
Assumption of Risk
The Ticket Holder (and any accompanying minors) voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the Event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual Event, including but not limited to any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
Recording/ Audiotaping
No photography, audio or video recording for commercial purposes is allowed during the Event.
Amendments
Ticket2u and the Organizer reserves the right to supplement, add, change or amend any of these terms and conditions at any time and at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.
Other Terms and Conditions
Risk & Indemnity
This Ticket is a revocable license allowing access to the Event at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) identified on this ticket and may be revoked and admission refused at the sole discretion of LPGA Tour (“Tour”), the Event owner Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) (“Event Owner”) or Organizer. By use of the ticket, the Ticket Holder (and any accompanying minors) assumes all risks and dangers with respect to personal injury and all other hazards incidental to the event and hereby releases the Released Parties (defined below) from any and all liability arising from the Ticket Holder’s attendance whether occurring prior to, during, or after the Event. THE TICKET HOLDER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS AND CONSENT NOT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LOSSES OR LIABILITY RELATED TO THE TICKET HOLDER’S USE OF THE TICKET.
Released Parties
LPGA Tour, Malayan Banking Bhd, Bigntall Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Bhd., their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, officials, managers and members; all Event players and caddies; all Event and Tour sponsors; and all third parties with whom Event Owner or Organizer has contracted with in connection with the Event.
Media Ownership
The Event Owner owns the rights to all images, sounds and data relating to or arising from this Event. You agree not to take any action which would or may infringe upon the Event Owner’s rights.
Your Likeness
The Ticket Holder authorizes the Event Owner and its affiliates & licensees of its choice to use your image, likeness, voice, actions and statements (and that of any minor you accompany) captured at the Event in any live telecast, video recording or photograph in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (in whole or in part) for commercial and business purposes, without compensation.
Limited Media License
The Event Owner grants the Ticket Holder a limited license to use photos/video captured at the Event for personal, non-commercial use only (e.g., for personal social media accounts) (“Licensed Content”). This limited media license does NOT cover any scoring-related data or statistics. Licensed Content may NOT be distributed on a real time basis (no live streaming or stroke by stroke account).
You hereby assign the Event Owner, as sole owner, all rights, title and interest in and to all Licensed Content, including all copyrights and rights to use all Licensed Content in any way, (including rights to use the Ticket Holder’s social media posts incorporating the Licensed Content).
THE HOLDER OF THIS TICKET/CREDENTIAL ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT THE TICKET/CREDENTIAL IS (1) A REVOCABLE LICENSE ALLOWING ACCESS TO THE MAYBANK CHAMPIONSHIP 2023,
AND (2) IS SUBJECT TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THE TICKET/CREDENTIAL LICENSE AGREEMENT WHICH IS AVAILABLE AT: www.maybank.com/championship
HOLDER ASSUMES ALL RISK INCIDENTAL TO AND ASSOCIATED WITH ATTENDING AND/OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THE MAYBANK CHAMPIONSHIP 2023.[20][21]
Permitted and Prohibited Items During The Event
All Ticket Holders attending the Maybank Championship 2023 are subject to search prior to entering the Event grounds. All carry-on bags, purses, fanny packs, backpacks etc. will be subject to inspection.[22][CHN23][24]
- Permitted Items
• Bags no larger than the size of a backpack
• Clear plastic, vinyl or other carry items not exceeding one (1) litre capacity
• A single, unopened bottle of water per person
• Mobile phones, tablets, and PDA’s – MUST be on Silent mode
• Still camera with lens smaller than 6 inches; (During Practice Rounds Only)
• Non-branded umbrellas
• Portable radios with headsets
• Medically necessary supplies, strollers, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles, and other necessary baby
supplies (infant must be with carrier) – items subject to search
• Collapsible chairs
• Binoculars
- Prohibited Items
• No bags larger than size of a backpack
• No clear plastic, vinyl, or other carry items larger than one (1) Litre capacity
• No fireworks or laser pointers
• No lawn or oversize chairs, seat cushions
• No bicycle, tricycle, scooter (electric or non), roller-blades, skateboard etc
• No pets of any kind
• No knives, firearms or weapons of any nature
• No video cameras (All Week)
• No cameras, including GoPro devices (During Competition Rounds)
• No alcoholic beverages (patrons may not bring in or exit with alcoholic beverages)
• No radios or TVs
• No posters, signs, banners or flyers
• Any noise producing devices
• Metal-spiked golf shoes
• Unmanned aircrafts (drones, etc.)
• Any other items deemed unlawful, dangerous, inappropriate, or disruptive
by the LPGA Tour and/or Event security personnel, in their sole discretion.
Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping will be permitted on-site ONLY at designated areas.
Smoking in tented areas, patios or enclosed public spaces, are prohibited.
Security and police services will have the right to eject any person(s) found in violation of the policy at the discretion of Organizer or Event Owner.
Re-entry Policy
All general admissions guests will be allowed to leave and re-enter the grounds by obtaining a non-transferable wristband at the ticketing area.
Hospitality Guests will be allowed to re-enter at any time using their non-transferable hospitality pass/wristband.[25]
Weather
The LPGA provides an on-site meteorologist for the duration of the Event
to monitor possible incoming inclement weather. In the event of an approaching storm special ‘weather warning’ signs will be posted on electronic scoreboards around the course. The sound of a siren indicates that play is suspended, and the course will be cleared. At this stage close umbrellas and seek shelter.
If the storm persists spectators should evacuate the golf course. Avoid the following areas:
• Open areas
• Hilltops and high places
• Isolated trees
• Golf buggies
• Wire fencing
• Public stand or grandstands
Play occurs rain or shine as long as weather is not severe and playing conditions are deemed playable by Event officials.
