Musica Sinfonietta''s varied activities have made it a major contributor to the arts scene in PENANG since its inception in 2010. It is a registered society managed and led by a voluntary entity of experienced music educators and performers. Its activities have included orchestral performances, charity concerts, music camps, masterclasses, lectures, workshops, and a training orchestra programme. Musica Sinfonietta aims to provide a sustainable platform for the young and amateur musicians in the community with the help of a string of local and international professional musicians, soloists and guest conductors.
