Bintulu Triathlon Association(BTA) was established in 2015 by a group of Triathlon enthusiast. Bintulu Triathlon Association had since 2015 been working closely with Pejabat Belia Dan Sukan Bahagian Bintulu to organize Bintulu Hari Sukan 10KM Run in conjunction with annual Hari Sukan Negara.
