The Sunway University 24 Festive Drums Team was founded in 2016, with the aim of promoting Malaysian cultural heritage while nurturing teamwork, discipline and artistic excellence among Sunway students. Over the years, the team has grown into a prominent performing arts group on campus, recognised for its dynamic performances at university celebrations, external events and national showcases. With members from diverse academic backgrounds, the team continues to uphold the values of unity, passion and commitment that define the tradition of 24 Festive Drums.
As we approach our 10th Anniversary in 2026, we are proud to celebrate a decade of milestones, achievements and unforgettable experiences. To commemorate this significant journey, Sunway University 24 Festive Drums Team will be organising an anniversary concert that expresses the story of our growth throughout these ten years. Through this concert, we wish to share our story with our alumni, Sunway students and staff, and the public, to celebrate the people who built this team and reflect on how far we have come over the past ten years.
Our 10th Anniversary Concert, titled 《歆願 Our Dream》, reflects the essence of our decade-long journey and the principles that have shaped our team. “歆願 Our Dream” symbolises the inner calling that moves us and the promise we continue to uphold and capture our resilience, unity, and commitment to growth. Through compelling rhythms and concise storytelling, this concert aims to deliver an inspiring message to our audience: honouring our beginnings, celebrating our progress, and expressing our hopes for the future.
