Ticket2U Shares Southeast Asia Ticketing Insights at Ticketing Business Asia 2026 in Hong Kong

Hong Kong, October 2026 – Ticket2U Founder & Managing Director, YC Chia, was invited to speak at The Ticketing Business Asia 2026, held at Kai Tak, Hong Kong, from 13–15 October 2026, joining international ticketing industry leaders, stadium operators, and technology providers from around the world.

During the panel discussion, “Platforms and Product Roadmaps across Genres, Cultures and Markets,” YC Chia shared Ticket2U's experience in navigating Southeast Asia's rapidly evolving entertainment and ticketing landscape, particularly across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.

The discussion explored the challenges and opportunities of expanding ticketing platforms across different markets, including local consumer behaviour, payment preferences, cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and the importance of building trust with event organisers and audiences.

“Localisation is not just translation. One technology core, but different local approaches.” This philosophy reflects Ticket2U's regional expansion strategy, where understanding each market is just as important as developing the right technology.

Moderated by Ian Nuttall, Founder of TheTicketingBusiness, the panel also featured Joseph Lee from AnTank Group and Kaz Shimada, CEO of Zaiko, bringing together diverse perspectives on the future of entertainment ticketing across Asia.

Participating on this international stage marks another milestone for Ticket2U, a homegrown Malaysian ticketing technology company, as it continues expanding its presence across Southeast Asia and contributing to the global ticketing industry.
