Time is hard for everyone ever since the lockdown of MCO and CMCO due to Covid-19 pandemic. The Zoo Negara has again forced to temporary shut down the gate for visit and this has also shut down the revenue stream, same it also shut down the expenses for foods to the animals in the zoo.

March 18th 2020 an unpredictable Global Pandemic Covid-19 happened and MCO was enforced by the authority. By no means we have to abide by the ruling of having to temporary halt operation for the safety and well-being of our beloved customers, staffs and animals. During the course of these enforcement of MCO and CMCO, much hardship had resulted in the lost of income and supplies of essentials for all our beloved pets and animals.

For the first time in 29 years, we are sincerely appealing for your help to tie us through the crisis as we made available our precious butterfly chrysalis for adoption, each of them was carefully raised from the moment they hatched from their tiny eggs. Each of them tells the story of dedicated farmers and staff throughout the metamorphosis. This is the only way we can ensure butterflies continue to fly

MIRI: The Covid-19 pandemic and the resultant Movement Control Order (MCO) to contain its spread have caused temporary shutdown of Miri Crocodile Farm (MCF), with its management now appealing for public support to cover operating costs.
